Similar to a tea served in Turkey, best enjoyed very hot with sugar. This has a good basic black as a base, with a bit of spearmint for refreshment and cardamom for a homey, welcoming feel in the hint of spice. For authentic flavor, add a small amount of sage to the brew.
I had some tea very similar to this that is blended by a local eatery. I drink gallons of this stuff when I'm there, but it is 40 miles away, so I really wanted some for at the house. The owner told me what was in it, and after doing some research I found that it is very similar to the Turkish Rize tea (although he uses a normal black for his blend). This is my take on the tea.
