Hi Paula, I tried this one during the holidays, and really liked it. Enough to order a sample pouch. I just finished it, but I think I have a new pouch in my "not yet opened" collection. It's different, it's definitely got the spice Vibe but there's more to it, which distinguishes it for many of the other spice blends. I hope you have a wonderful Thursday!

I have a bad reaction, almost bordering on allergy to sweet potatoes...even the smell bothers me. Eventually, my parents stopped trying to make me eat it. I think I can eat sweet potato pie, but... I actually dislike sweet potatoes and blue cheese dressing both quite a bit. My wife got me to try them together though and I can't explain it, but it totally works they taste good combined to me.

Good morning, everyone! People were so spicy yesterday! I had someone lie about getting approval for something that we're generally not allowed to do/provide at work, and thank goodness I checked with my boss who "approved" it. Then the person threatened to email said boss because I wouldn't give them what they wanted. I told them yes, please do email her! 🙄 Then I had a manager get all bent out of shape because I sent them best practice guidance for a letter they asked for and explained the 2 options that they had and what those options entailed. They didn't like either option (as if I have control over them 😂) and then threw a fit and said they didn't want the letter anymore... Okay, well, is the lead planning on signing the other letters today? "Who knows" ... Well hopefully YOU do because you're the manager?! 🙃 Then the lead signed for all the letters, even the one they "didn't want". I have no idea what that manager was thinking or trying to do. 🫠 And again, I only work with internal people, so these are my own coworkers acting this way! ☠️ Hoping for a less spicy day today... 🌶

Good morning! I have a theory about our schedule. Several of our teas this month seem oddly off. Today and tomorrow's in particular. We're having sweet potato pie the day before Pi Day, and there's a fandom blend called Anthony and Cleopatra up for the day before the Ides of March. Coupled with Twyla's comment last week about how we had summer rose the day before Elizabeth's birthday, I suspect that either in planning or, more likely, in practice, somehow last year's Leap Day threw off the schedule. It's possible, right? The schedule was done in 2024, a leap year. So maybe, when it was put into practice, there was some kind of computer glitch which still accounted for February 29. When there was no February 29 in 2025, everything got bumped up a day. 🤔

We are celebrating PI day at work today, a day early, so I kinda had forgotten it was not quite Pi, yet. Next Month, EarthKeeper is on Earth day! Fun question! My favorite is mincemeat, which is apparently not well known here in Tennessee. I don't think it would translate well into a tea, so I'll go with my second favorite which is pecan pie. That would be a delicious tea I think.

Ooooo mincemeat! I haven’t had one of those in ages. My german pawpaw and dutch mawmaw made those around yule and Christmas. Lol I remember saying to my dad that they were the worst meat pies ever because there was no “meat”. I did appreciate them as I grew into my teens and understood that there is actually fruit not meat in them. 😂

Todays tea was ok. However i didn’t quite get sweet potato pie feels. More like baked sweet potato with a dusting of cinnamon sugar. My mom used to make sweet potatoes that way, so there was a little bit of nostalgia in this cup. Id drink it again if it came my way, preferably in the fall or winter though.

I think I lost track of time the last couple of days due to having my nose in a couple of books I borrowed from the library. The first book is on how to blend your own teas, it has some nice recipes in there I want to write down for hand blending later. The other book is on mushroom hunting in my local state and it has been a fascinating read! Anyway, for today's tea I blended it with a little bit of Christmas blend and froze the brew in an ice tray, after it's frozen I'm going to use the ice for a sweet potato and pumpkin shake. Which I know is out of season, but I couldn't resist the temptation of one more Fall/Winter treat before Spring.

Well tea friends I made it through most of winter and I now have a cold. I was wearing a mask and had to change it out my nose was leaking so much yesterday. I had made a lunch date with a friend the day before her birthday and had baked her favorite applesauce cake from her grandmother’s recipe. I wasn’t going to miss our meeting because of a runny nose. I am putting aside today’s tea since I can’t smell anything right now. I am having the herbal cold care tea from another company since I only had one packet of speedy recovery and I drank that already. Once I can smell again I will try this tea. Stay well!

Oh how I love today's tea, and I have a bag of it in my stash. I started the morning with Tulsa Earl, blended by Ebeth, with Earl Grey Moonlight, Caramel and Vanilla Oolong, https://www.adagio.com/217278. Yum! Then I followed it up with another wonderful by Khrissi, Thanksgiving Earl-y Chai. It also has Earl Grey Moonlight but is blended with Honeybush Pumpkin Chai, and Chestnut with cardamom, cranberry and orange peel...a tasty and lovely lower caffeine choice for mid morning. https://www.adagio.com/217278.

Good afternoon! Taking a tea break from working in the garden. I got a little bit of a tan yesterday with it hitting 80F.

We have been so busy and I have not been able to read Chat for a couple days. I hope I have not missed anything vital. If I have, I apologize. We heard from our vet regarding Laddie's tests. He has 0% calcium to indicate cancer or parathyroid issues, so we breathed a huge sigh of relief. His x-rays showed a slightly enlarged liver and slightly thickened intestines, which are not problematic unless he develops symptoms. However, he has bladder stones. He was put on a prescriptive medicated food and antibiotic regimen for a month in an attempt to dissolve the stones. He will then be x-rayed again to see if the stones have dissolved. If the stones are not the type to dissolve, then surgery will become a possibility. Of course we are praying that the stones dissolve. After a month, one way or the other, he will be back on normal food and will again be able to have treats. Thank you to everyone who has shown concern about our precious poochie. It is appreciated.

Today so far has been a blustery day with intermittent rain. It started with rain around 4am and became a lot heavier around 5am and later. It was something else. It stopped for a few hours, and then we had a moderate rainfall around 10:30am. It has stopped raining now but there is a very gusty wind blowing. Is anyone else in the group watching the bald eagle couple who have a nest up in Big Bear in California? They have 3 babies eaglets in the nest that mama Jackie and daddy Shadow are working hard to feed and to protect from the cold and possible predators. Jackie is currently sitting on the nest, hunkered down with wings spread wide to protect their babies. She is half covered in snow, as seen on the camera that allows them to be watched 24/7. It’s so cool to watch them!

Yes, John. The first 2 eggs hatched within a few hours of each other, but then it was2-3 days before the 3rd one started working its way out. I was so happy that all 3 survived this time.

Yes, I have seen it! I was lucky enough to be in Big Bear last year when they were sitting on the nest and they were playing it nonstop in the visitors center. So fun!
