Spicy, dark, demonic, but ultimately with a sweet boyishness of apple. Hes a polarizing and maybe a little intimidating, but hes sharp, fun, and fully caffeinated to help you burn that midnight oil. Out of the tin, this smells quite intimidating - sharp, spicy, cinnamon, bitter from the peppercorn. But in a brew, the spices mellow out to more of a warming feel than a spice feel. There's a smoky, cavelike note from the lapsang souchong, but it's easily tempered by the hint of apple. Brews a deep orange-brown, medium-full bodied. Best for drinking hot during a crisp autumn.
