The Autumn Goddess arrives, her gradually shifting cloak of rust reds and vivid yellows stretching out across the tree tops. Like her cloak, this tea was created to change with the season. A heavy dose of Pu Erh gives this tea an earthy, smooth foundation, providing a soothing space for the soul. Apple notes sing to the spirits of Autumn, whispering of knowledge and protection to those who drink, and leaving a crisp, mouth-watering impression on the tongue. Subtle notes of chai lend a sense of familial hearth fire to the blend, warming our bones from within as the chilled winds slowly begin to unfurl. A sprinkling of marigold petals honor both ancestors and memory, nourishing and assisting the body with grief work as we remember those we love.
