Happy Fri-yay y’all. Its going to be a rough few days or even a week for me, my BPPV (vertigo) is back. If I keep my head straight or avoid any head movements im fine, but I cant drive, period (and for obviously good reason!). Which means I may be out of work anywhere from five days to a couple of weeks. Thank god for Zofran. Hubby is staying home a few days to help me with my physical therapy movements that helps relieve the symptoms faster. He’s brewing up todays tea as I type.

I was dealing with vertigo a few years ago. Fortunately, it was just something left over from a virus and cleared up on its own. I did have a bout of it start up while I was driving. That was the longest 20 minute drive I've ever done!

When I was diagnosed last fall with BPPV I had symptoms but didnt know what they were being caused by and it came and went through the first days of experiencing it. I drove to work no problem, but at work was when it went all out and I couldn’t do anything but toss my cookies. My husband had to come pick me up and take me to the doctor same day. The doctor was not only amazed but horrified that I drove to work that day. But again it wasn’t a continuous dizziness at that time. The Epley Maneuver was sheer torture the first three days because it triggers it on purpose but relieves the symptoms faster. It was a very exhausting week and a half for me. I appreciate your experience and sympathy ❤️.

Feel better....I deal with constant dizziness, although I finally found some meds that tame it somewhat. I know it can be nightmarish. Hopefully this passes soon.

Oh my goodness I couldnt imagine having constant verigo, or similar symptoms like it. Im so glad you are able to get some relief via medication. For me its a recliner, Zofran for a few days due to extreme nausea, then meclazine to manage the motion sickness nausea. The Epley Maneuver, as much as I hate it, actually does shorten and help with my type if vertigo. I appreciate your support and experience as well. Youre right, it is very nightmarish to go through something like this 😬.

Happy international carrot day! I used to not like carrots, but now I eat baby carrots often as a side for lunch, not even dipping them in ranch dressing anymore! Eating them… plain! How do you like your carrots?

Did a double take, wasn't sure if we were talking carrots or donuts. Never heard of maple carrots, but they sound like something I'd try. I like carrots just about any which way, including fried like french fries. One of my favorite ways to have carrots is a carrot salad with raisons.

Ughz..I developed a light allergy to carrots (itchyness after imbibing!) I can eat them baked...and not get a reaction, but now I don't want to have 'em at all. I used to think they were so tasty, just raw and crunchy, when I was kid!!

Carrots raw dipped in sour cream was a childhood favorite of mine, I really enjoy carrot salads during winter when it's hard to get greens (or cucumbers), and carrots in roasts/stews are always good in my book. Oh! I almost forgot, stir fry, gotta have some carrots in a tasty stir fry dish.

Like many, I like my carrots roasted or in a soup/stew if I'm going to cook them. I also like them raw with some kind of dip. Ranch dressing, hummus, or even peanut butter are all good pairings for me.

So yesterday my daughter 5 told me she wanted to make coffee cake as she has it at school some mornings. I said sure since I knew the ingredients were probably all in house. So we made it together after finding recipe with high ratings. Of course, after swim lessons she tried some and says "I don't like it" lol. My wife and I thought it was great, but now I am wondering if schools coffee cake is maybe just something called that and not actually what we made.

Thanks to the card swap I was able to unofficially participate in CT today. I enjoyed this tea, steeping it the first time for 4 minutes with one packet of Splenda. And interestingly, in addition to the peach, I also tasted chocolate and coffee. The second steep I did for 6 minutes and still got some chocolate along with the peach.
