Got up early to take doggo outside. And, of course, it's raining. :) So, staying up for a few minutes to sip some tea, warm up and dry off before going back to bed. :) Doggo dried off by having zoomies, crunched his breakfast kibble, and is already back in bed. I'm just not as fast as GusGus :) He can see my desk from the bed, so he's under all the blankets starting at me like "Aren't you coming back?" He does not understand that tea can't be rushed :)

Tea rules this household too. I tell my PCA to make herself a tea just as soon as she arrives, and to stop whatever she's doing when it's ready so she can sip it hot. She tells me, hold on, give me a sec. I tell her, nope, tea rules. Go get your tea, whatever else can wait. :D She loves me, but she isn't sure about the tea first rule.

It is dance marathon day! I don't have any dance marathons going on around me.... Do you love to dance? I do! I enjoy belly dancing (YouTube taught me) in my pj's as part of my morning routine everyday, and will often shimmy or add sass to my stretching across the day with belly dance moves :) do you practice a certain style of dance, just love to move, or have the coordination of a drunken monkey?

When I was 4 I danced all the time, so much so my mom enrolled me at a dance studio. I did tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, and some hip hop. My teachers were impressed to see how well I kept up with class and showed willingness to learn so i was then bumped into competitions at age 6. I won quite a few times as first or second place. I excelled at lyrical and contemporary dances, i was ok as a tapper, but horrible as a hip hopper lol. I thrived being the pretty ballerina I always saw as figurines. Until i got older and saw the feet of a pointe type ballerina. Their beauty and grace comes at a price, disfigured and painful feet. As time as gone on there have been improvements in the shoes for pointe but nearly every person ive talked to that had done pointe says they have some kind of pain or numbness with their toes. I haven’t danced since I was in highschool….goodness Id throw my back out trying now 🤣. However, once a dancer always a dancer. I do bob, shimmy and sway when i hear a favorite song, but no full body rock lol.

I would think the important part would be the purpose of the writing, are you writing to entertain then I would focus on a short period of your life and specific happenings and learnings from that time, but if it's for your family or yourself definitely hitting on all those key points would be matter. Hello, tea-mates: My photo today is a fun way making a single cup of tea with my my infuser island dunker. (that's what it is called) Ha-ha It is just a simple infusers to go inside big glass cups and just sit and then pull it out by the handle. Now it is a sparking silver and shinny but in the photo it is rather pitiful dark color. Ha-ha. enjoy the photo tea friends.

Today's tea was a meh from me. Normally I like fruit flavored teas, but the apricot just didn't do anything for me. Unfortunately due to allergies and headaches I fell off the wagon in terms of drinking the TotD for the past week. So I have an entire week's backlog to work through at some point, several of which I am looking forward to trying.

Apricot fresh and as a jam was usually always a part of the household growing up. My grandmother put apricot jam in her vanilla sandwich cookies. I was the kid that ate peanut butter and apricot jam sandwiches. Fresh apricots in season are a real treat. Crepes with apricot jam are an Austrian tradition for lunch. Apricots stuffed with a sugar cube, breaded with a potato dough and fried are a sweet treat. They are another Austrian dish. Today’s tea is another way to enjoy the delicious apricot flavor.
