Thank you Bambi, for the, Shot in the Dark, shout out, I love that blend so much, and am so glad you enjoyed it. John loving the Zeppelin love. Robert Plant, is the captain of my dreamboat, I actually made a shirt that said that in high-school, people thought I was so strange, but I sincerely stand by that statement almost 3 decades later, lol. Twyla, thank you for putting together the friend blends, I adore the pick a card idea! Sabby and I are adjusting to our new routine, ( the iv fluids) I actually reached out to a vet tech, I know and funny story the last time I spoke to him he worked at a regular vet office, he offered to stop by and reassure me im doing everything right, he came from work and is the head vet tech at Brookfield Zoo!! Talk about calling in the heavys!!!! He walked me through the process, gave me tons of tips, and then showed, Jake and I all the pictures of him with penguins and baby zebras, mongoose, and animals I've never even seen from SE Asia, it was like a funky armadillo. Needless to say I'm much more comfortable with the process now. Not a pro, but we'll get there. Thank you again for all your love, and support with, Sabby, this is still really heavy, but I will do whatever she needs!!💜🐈‍⬛💜 Big hugs to you tea friends😘💜

I hope you find your tea packet, Michelle. I love your sketch. I love the white on the tan. My staff finally understands why I insist on ordering tan paper for some of our students’ colored pencil projects. Now, they keep telling me how cool the art projects look, and they ask for more tan paper. I’m also fascinated by the vertical folds in your plant’s leaves. Great depth. Beautiful sketch.

First pick your chips, Doritos nacho, cool ranch or spicy sweet chili, OR Fritos. We then cut them open on the side, scoop in your taco meat (we make out own seasoning), cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, and sour cream, then put a fork in and eat out of the bag! I have nicknames for all of the combos, my mind is a strange place, as I am saying things like carnivore (meat only), cheesy Grinch (cheese and lettuce only), dairy special (cheese and sour cream), or no tom cats in the snow (no tomatoes or sour cream)

Good morning, everyone! My tea arrived yesterday! 😍 I started brewing some iced Cream tea right away. 🤣 I've found that, although it only says to use the 1 pouch, I really prefer 2 pouches with this huge iced tea pitcher. Thankfully, I got the big bags so 2 pouches isn't a problem. 😂

Today's tea is light in steep and comes out almost...White-tea-ish or Green tea .. in liqueur vibe, ((when you brew it for 2 or 3 mins)) unlike Autumnal Darjeelings that are really a black tea cuppa. Its very Spring-y in cup. A Nice earthy minerality vibe!!

Yes. Have had to arrange and rearrange and expand and re-expand. My mom does second hand shops so picked up some shelves for me. She also had shelves that used to be toy storage for the grandkids and donated those to the cause. I need to tidy up though. A couple of minor illnesses back-to-back had me getting a bit loose with ongoing shelving. I like shoe boxes with the tea packets standing up in them and the shoeboxes organized on the shelves. :) It's not as cute as those little Japanese tea canisters, but I can stash a LOT of tea that way-- space efficient!

Good late Morning. Saved todays tea as well and went with Irish Stout since my taste is still altered and I don’t know when the side effect will pass. Hi everyone. I ordered the April box, and I'm excited to start up CommuniTea again. I recently found out I was anemic, and my doctor told me to cut way back on tea, which was brutal. So I've been exploring more herbal options. (And I can still have some regular tea, just not as much as I was drinking.) I love that CommuniTea gives us such a nice variety so we can try things we might not have tried otherwise.

My wife dealt with low iron due to her tea intake. I believe it was specifically the tannins in black tea. She did find some benefit to taking iron supplements at the opposite part of the day from tea drinking and pairing the iron supplement with vitamin c to boost the absorption of the iron.

It's encourging to hear that worked! I've tried to avoid tea several hours after I take my iron supplement in the morning, so hopefully that will be the key. I'll see if I can bump up my vitamin c as well. :)

According to the internet it is the polyphenols in tea that interfere with iron absorption when the tea is drunk with those foods. Black tea has the highest level of polyphenols, so it makes sense that drinking lots of black tea could contribute to the anemia. The only thing I read was that moderate tea consumption should not be an issue. I was thinking what is considered moderate or high tea consumption according to the experts? We here in the CommuniTEA are all probably above average consumers of tea. I had not heard of the connection between anemia and higher tea consumption, so thank you for sharing and I hope you are doing better soon.

I think it is likely a body specific thing, like if you are prone to being anemic, tea drinking could affect you more? I am just happy you can still drink so many wonderful beverages!

Yikes! I didn't know that could happen. And as John mentioned, BLACK tea is my favorite. I try to have just one 8-ounce cup in the morning, but I do squeeze in another 8 oz. cup of mod caff black tea at mid-day after some of my 5am work shifts. And on occasion, my evening cup might be decaf black tea though I try to go with herbals. I'm eating salmon, chicken breast, eggs, and /or spinach for most meals plus some nuts (Brazil and almonds mostly) for snacks so hopefully I'm picking up some iron along the way! Still, I ought to take a close look at my next blood test results. Even before becoming tea-addicted, I tended to run low on iron.

It wasn't affecting my wife's day to day life generally, but we were saving up for our wedding and honeymoon so we were both donating plasma as much as they would let us. That is when she realized it as she was an all day black tea drinker and that was just the fix that worked for her.

It’s Wednesday tea friends. I enjoyed today’s tea. I am still sore from painting on Monday and I still need to paint another coat. I had a fractured night’s sleep last night. A member of my church choir totally lost his marbles last evening. He started accusing everyone else of lying and being above himself. It was an ugly situation. Our director has only been in the position for a month and he went behind her back complaining to our pastor about her not doing what he wanted done. She responded by meeting with him, myself and another woman to attempt to resolve the issue he had. Well, he didn’t like what she was trying to do and that’s when the accusations started. He didn’t want anyone to have a say except himself. My son and I drive together and he tried to intervene to diffuse the situation. The accusations were then piled on him as well. I finally spoke up when he said that I and my son needed to look in the mirror to see what liars looked like. I don’t like being falsely accused and I don’t like my son being accused as well. The director had to step in between him and my son because my son was really mad about his mother being insulted. I was just as mad. Something has been bothering him for a while now and none of us deserved his anger and false accusations. I sincerely hope he stays away and I will pray for him after I get past the unnecessary stress he put us all through. Hope your day is going better.

I'm a Christian, but not a church-going one. I work every other weekend plus I've seen a lot of unfortunate things go down at churches. I'm still friends with those who wish to be. People are people wherever we go. Some definitely do poorly in groups for whatever reasons. And some definitely shouldn't be group leaders! A previous pastor was from an abusive home background and needed some healing and reshaping. He truly knew God but was unaware of his own failings (or in denial about his tendencies!) and could be harsh with people at times. There was a crisis and everything came to a head. Ugly fallout for many.

I need to rant about something and I know this is a safe space, but I just had the worst customer service for my favorite store who shall remain nameless. Their new credit card partnership with a well respected brand just started last month and my card has already been compromised with fraudulent charges. How does that happen when I haven't even used it until last Saturday? I made the purchase through the store's verified app, which I have used many times without issue. I keep an eye on my financials like a HAWK, so when I logged into the credit card companies website which is directly connected to the app, I noticed the discrepancy right away and called them, but their customer service team "can't see" the order history from the stores app. You would think it would all be connected. Very long story short: I had to file fraud claims even though there is clearly a glitch in the matrix. Whomever was responsible for this merger did not do a good job and now I can't spend my hard-earned money at their store because the card is now being replaced. 🥲 #FirstWorldProblems

A friend gifted me some herbal blend tea from an assortment department store--the kind where you can find a little bit of everything. I brewed it and iced it. It was Ginseng, Hibiscus, Rosehips and Orange peels. Omgeeee..was it the most bitter, awful brew. Gimme Adagio Wild Strawberry-- for my Roships & Hibiscus blend fix--or Ginseng Green anyday. Wow.
