Good morning all. We are having rain all week so I’m very happy that I bought and planted new daisies on Friday. This rain will really help them, and the ground cover flowers I planted elsewhere on Wednesday a chance to get well established. I’m going to write today and also plan an hour of yoga practice. I might also wash the inside of the remaining windows that I didn’t catch earlier. Hi-Ya!, CommuniTEA! Was up all night tossing and turning and having a hard time to sleep. Just about yesterday,. I'm still kind of spooked when I was walking peanut, I was looking all around me, because I'm paranoid. With all the craziness going on I;m always living the Dream! :) What comforts me is Irishman, peanut ,friends and family but when I want to getaway I like to pop in and say hello to my dear Tea Family that gives me joy, to the point it makes me giddy. lol :) I really love the communiTEA-adagio Tea Family and all of you are very special incredible Tea Peeps.. All love to you dear friend. What a weird, awful thing to have occured. Woodie, So....Cold Water is a nice reset to the nervous system. Maybe take a cold plunge or a cold shower...or put ice packs on either side of your face (thats called the DIVERS response to do that) .. and then have some relaxing tea afterwards. Also, Homeopathic BACH FLOWER "Rescue Remedy" Kids Version (its sweet, it has glycerin, in it) is nice to take after a rattling situation... CONTINUED GOOD VIBES & cosmic HUGS sent 2 U!

So I have had two wonderful teas already today. We did a bit of grocery shopping this morning and dropped some book donations off at the library. Now we are home for the day. I enjoyed And Then There Were None so much that I decided to reread Agatha Christie's Death on the Nile for my Mother's Day treat to myself. It is cloudy now and we may get a bit of rain later, which we definitely need. No April showers to speak of so we have to have some May showers to help the flowers along. I decided on some black cherry today. Today’s tea reminded me of my cousin in Germany telling me that she was given breast milk building tea in the hospital to support her desire to breastfeed. Several years later when I had my son, no breast milk building tea was offered to me. Ironically, my cousin didn’t produce enough milk, but I had plenty to spare, even without the tea.

gosh i wish i did! but i imagine several hundred. this is a LARGE competition. Quaterfinals are up after the next round. Next round is the wild card round (for those who place second, one winner will go to the quarterfinals). Then its semi finals and final finals. so 4 more rounds, i cant believe i made it this far! I can tell you, there were 61 people in my group - including me. So, I've beat out 55 people in my group, plus however many other groups there are. So, I beat a LOT of people. I did amazingly well! I'm so elated that you guys, my primary source of votes, got me this far. you all are so wonderful...your support has been tremendous. I truly expected people to get bored with it much sooner. I can't thank you, and everyone enough.

Good news! There are no breaks in our sewer lines and all clogs are cleared and hot water is working! Thank you for all the positive thoughts!! The weird part is that the plumber said there was a metal cube in the line? We can't figure out what that would have been...... Also, I stopped by my yaya's grave after picking up the kids from school. She would have been 85 years old today, we sang her happy birthday. I like to think she helped a bit with the house issues.

So I found out that it is KS state law for anyone living in an assisted living facility that has a catheter or skin breakdown has to have home health visiting them. My Dad has had a catheter the entire time he has lived where he is, but the Home Health nurse quit coming in December. She didn't see any reason to come check on him after that. I guess they have been breaking the law since December. No wonder why the corporate nurse said, "Please don't have him leave." She said she will work on getting him home health and have him be brought down for his meals. I admit, after my parents do move out I am very tempted to notify the state of all the problems that have happened. It feels like elder abuse.
