Today’s artwork experiment included a bit of fun—I incorporated sheet music into the background by painting a peony over a gesso-prepped photocopy. It turned out well enough, though I realized after finishing that I’d painted it upside down. 🙃The smaller piece features a sketched line of music as well, though I wouldn’t suggest trying to play it—the tune would likely be dull, and the notes are all backward anyway. Still, White Symphony from Adagio made a lovely companion, and I hope everyone enjoys their Wednesday sip.🤍🍵🤍

Mary, the upside down one is from the internet so it probably is a discernible tune if you can read it that way😂 the bar of Music on the smaller pieces something I just filled in, ironically from a reverse image sheet of music. It never even occurred to me it was backward. Of course my two and a half years of piano lessons and Sheet reading music occurred when I was still in grade school. Many, many decades ago. Let me know if you manage it!

Quartz! I've always loved quartz, I'm not sure if I'm drawn to them, or if they are drawn to me, but I have a decent collection of points, clusters, and one nice example of a phantom quartz. My favorite out of all of them is the one I've been wearing on a necklace since I was 12, I've had that crystal so long that at this point it would feel wrong not wear it.

Oh my, what a decadent, rich tea I had in my cup this morning, thanks to Ebeth's superb blending skills. Rich, decadent. When I first tasted it chocolate covered cherries popped into my head. I said not a word to hubby about it before I gave him a sip, and the first thing he said was rich, chocolate covered cherries. I laughed, since that was exactly what I had thought...and that is rare. He usually tastes teas quite differently from what I taste. Cream, Forest Berries, and Chocolate Truffle, along with cherry and cacao nibs, blend perfectly into a divine cup. Howdy CT. Today has been a better day, with one Dr appointment being a positive outcome. I have not only lost 3% of my body weight (I’ll take it!) in the four weeks of doing semaglutide but my insulin levels are showing a positive trend. I have struggled for so to lose weight and manage my insulin resistance that I didn’t really think this would work either. I have a ways to go but I feel so hopeful now. I knew there were changes I just didn’t know how much. As for the tea today, I do tend to like whites about as much as I like oolongs. This tea didn’t disappoint. I loved the light honey floral notes and it was surprisingly refreshing. I would love to try this iced with a pinch of rock sugar to help bring the honey notes out a touch more. Well I hope everyone is have a wonderful hump day, the weekend approaches.

I had a much-needed, intense acupuncture appointment. I bruised my sit bones 2.5 weeks ago when I took my kiddos to a trampoline park and she helped blood flow. Using some Greek Mountain Tea to keep my afternoon calm.

How do you all label your tins if they just have the picture so that you’ll remember what they are in the future?

you have to have a program that lets you edit jpgs. Put your text on them (this is if you mean fandoms) ETA, I misread your question earlier. Use a label maker :)

Oh I thought she meant like physically labelling the tins. I was going to suggest a label maker and just sticking it on bottom with brew time and temp or maybe print a tiny tag to tape on there.

Tea delivery came in today! I decided to get a few masters teas to try this this time, plus a big tin of one of my favorite fandom blends. I also got a free bag of Teaster Marshmallow, every year I end up missing this one, so I'm looking forward to giving it a try! 😁
