Whether needed to wash down a full Scottish breakfast or to warm your bones after a walk on the misty moors, our Scottish Breakfast tea will do the trick. Richly blended with Assam, Keemun, Yunnan, and Sri Lankan full-leaf teas, you'll get a deep cup with malty notes, red fruitiness, hints of smoke and a touch of Yunnan pepperiness. Straight up or with a splash of cream, Scottish Breakfast is also a fine companion for your overdue Robbie Burns indulgence: "O, my Luve is like a red, red rose, That's newly sprung in June. O, my Luve is like the melody, That's sweetly played in tune."
Michelle McGill wished everyone sweet dreams; Jasmine Mone also said good night alongside others. The community started the day with friendly greetings as many tuned in to chat about their favorite teas for the day.

Good night everyone 💤
12:04 am
For those who don't know, I'm currently in a national culinary competition. I need YOUR votes to win. I'm currently sitting in 8th place (out of 60) which is pretty awesome! I only need to be top 20 for this round. But please keep those votes coming in, and please ask everyone you know to vote for me too! Thank you for your support and votes! Above all else, your support is the biggest reward! https://favchef.com/2025/khrissi-satterfield
12:11 am
Voted! Can we vote free daily or just once and done? I wish I could contribute dollars but right now I just scheduled some vacation time on days I already have off for the PAY. I've got to tighten my belt at the given moment!
10:31 am
Once per day but it measures pretty close to 24 hours as the day.
10:56 am
Thank you, Angel! and as Bambi said, once every 24 hours. and thanks for wanting to contribute dollars, but I do not expect anyone to do so. If I can't win for free....then I suppose it's not my time. but I"m doing excellent so far and your vote helped!
02:35 pm
Khrissi, I just voted, you're bumped back to 7th
11:10 am
THANK YOU, Mary!
02:36 pm
Have a beautiful, lemon tea Saturday 🍋

02:23 am
Happy birthday, Jason! 🥳
12:53 am
Good night
01:15 am
Ordered my box for May, as well as spices for a new mead!
02:12 am
Good night
03:15 am
Good morning!
04:41 am
Good morning/night! It's Saturday and I'm looking forward to a day of being out and about at the farmers market. I should be asleep right now, but I couldn't, so I decided to get some work done and simultaneously treat myself to some pomegranate sorbet served in a lemon rind. I don't have today's tea, but does that count for the lemon today? 😆
05:00 am
Why not!? :-)
05:46 am
Random funny (to me, at least): "I have a chicken-proof lawn. It's impeccable."
05:03 am
That's turf-rific!
05:48 am
That's horrible but I did just snort out loud.
03:31 pm
Good morning
05:35 am
Happy bell bottoms day! Do you own a pair? I have several, the challenge is sometimes you do trip yourself when walking with them ;) of course Gladys' cats trip her, trying to play with her bells!
05:49 am
Boot cut is as wide as I own. In fact, I've never had a pair because they're not a flattering cut for me.
07:33 am
Yes!!! I love bell bottoms...
07:51 am
Boot cut and bell bottoms are both cool in my book :)
08:46 pm
Michelle, my challenge was riding a bike while wearing bell bottoms and not getting the bells stuck in the chain.
10:19 am
Oh my, yes!
08:44 pm
Bell bottoms bring back fond high school memories. I'm short and there were no petite length jeans then. They had to be hemmed and lost a lot of bell 😂
10:32 am
I have extremely long legs (34" inseam) and was never able to find bell bottoms long enough. I now wear boot cut jeans and can find them long enough at NYDJ.
10:40 am
I love boot cuts :)
08:44 pm
If I still have my old jnco's does that count? They could be considered almost elephant ears bell bottoms with 50" wide legs right?
11:28 am
Wowzer!
08:45 pm
I did when they had a resurgence in the 90s. I was a kid so I didn’t realize how unflattering they were for my short legs. And because I’m so short they would drag on the ground and get so dirty!
12:56 pm
Me too Christine! I love bell bottoms and I also have short legs that don't always look flattering 😅
06:17 pm
I never thought about leg length n bell bottoms!
08:45 pm
Good morning tea folk. Happy Caturday.
06:16 am
Happy Caturday! 🐈⬛ 🐈
06:27 am
Gooooood morning!!! I have to work unfortunately, but I hope you all enjoy the start to the weekend. 🤗
07:08 am
I hope your day goes by quickly and smoothly so you can enjoy the rest of your Saturday!
08:17 am
Thank you, Traci! 🤗
12:20 pm
Good morning!!😸🫖

07:27 am
G'day Teapals! Lemon Soliel is not a fav tea, by itself...in blends it's nice and I do like it iced, when it comes around in CT. So, I made a teacup infuser blend of goodness of Honeybush Banana Nut with Butterscotch.. with Selefina Banana slices.... What a treat! 🍞🍌🌰🍵🫖
08:03 am
Good morning! Let's share a DDTS tip, today. Mine's silly, but it works. I tend to drink certain teas on certain days of the month. For instance, I will be sipping Cinco de Mayo at some point today because it's a day of the month that ends in 5. This works two-fold, I pace myself through my supply until next May 5, but it also makes sure that I drink it and it doesn't get abandoned in the back of the cupboard. Similarly, I indulge in a cup of Brigadoon only on the 29th and/or last days of the month or Christmas-themed blends on the 25th.
08:11 am
Anneke, I pace myself with most of my tea—no special system. But I have so much tea that I never see a dent in what I have when I do that. So, I pick two or three to sacrifice first and drink more of them than of the rest. That way I can see some progress and reclaim some tea real estate. Some teas I will replace later. Some I may not, at least not immediately. I feel like I can be more successful if I can see some progress. Of course I tend to blow that progress by succumbing to the lure of more tea🫖
09:17 am
I like that way of thinking...which to sacrifice first. lol
10:00 am
Oops! TEAmoji parade time!
10:00 am
That is a great idea to have designated days for certain teas. I sometimes pick a tea or sample tin and drink that as an extra cup until it's gone. Sometimes, I realize that I have more than one of something and I drink that.
10:27 am
Good morning all!! What a delightful tea today, nice and lemony and even better with a touch of honey - I quite enjoyed sampling it while hot. I’m looking forward to enjoying the rest of the cup iced with lunch! 😁 (I’m an iced tea gal, and have Mango Green I just cold brewed last night - so that’s my morning!)
08:13 am
I love Adagio teas--iced, as well! The Mango Powder, on the Selefina site, is awesome in Mango teas, btw!!
08:17 am
👫👭👬❣️🫖🍵 ~ Friend Blends for MAY ~ We'll do a Pick-A-Card for choosing our friend blends tomorrow--just for fun!
08:16 am
Is it going to be a blind pick, like pick a number?
11:58 am
Correcto, just for fun...its like pick a number. No pressure to actually buy the one you pick...but if you fancy the choice, it could be the blend that you spotlight for MAY, if you wish to pick it up and try it!
12:10 pm
Awesome that’s what I thought! Cool idea
12:49 pm
April showers again, time for tea.
08:30 am
Happy birthday, Deb. 🎈🎉🎁🎂🎈
08:44 am
🍋 Have yall seen the new Lemon Powder on Selefina? I will definitely enjoy that in Lemon-y Iced Tea...🥕🐰Also Ebony Carrot powder too, this there....nice for smoothies or baking, I'm sure.
08:48 am
I saw those new additions and am intrigued by both. I will be getting samples when I place my next order. I love trying new things!
08:50 am
Good morning, dear tea friends. Irish Breakfast was in my cuppa this morning, and hubby sipped Golden Flower. I am hoping to do some purging in our spare room today. It is currently a disaster zone. Wish me luck!
08:50 am
Hope the cleansing goes well! I am DDTSing, My 2nd cuppa...I finished the tin of my 'Gram's Garden' blend, with: "Grapefruit Oolong, White Tangerine & Citrus Mint Green"... I have been saying all year ...Can't wait for White Tangerine to return.
08:54 am
I think I have surrendered to tea. It has taken over, and there is nothing I can do about it! I do love to have choices. Tis the season for all of the light, fruity teas. Yum!
08:59 am
Great tea choices, Mary. Best wishes on the purging.
09:23 am
Thank you, Paula. I have been sipping a lot of tea to try to inspire me to tackle that room. I have made a little progress, which is better than no progress at all.
09:54 am
I have a bunch of that type of cleaning to do, as well! I have accumulated a plethora of different papers and old software from previous jobs that I just need to toss at this point.
10:15 am
Ruth, it is amazing how things pile up, and then you take a look at them and ask yourself why in the world you still have it. I have labels for floppy and hard disks...I mean really????
10:41 am
I need desperately to do some purging too. Maybe I will follow your good example today. Good luck!
12:58 pm
Christine, I made a good start but have a long way to go!
02:06 pm
Good morning!
08:54 am
Good morning! Happy Saturday!
09:29 am
Happy birthday Jason and Deb🎈🎈
09:30 am
Good morning! Happy Saturday!
09:34 am
Hello, Jim. I hope you’re still spending many beautiful days with your tea and trains. Thanks for those glimpses you gave us last year of your awesome train layout. It’s amazing 🚂
09:35 am
Happy Weekend!
09:50 am
Ruth, your new deck looks like the perfect spot to sip tea.
09:55 am
Thank you, Mary! It's going to be bigger and longer than the one it is replacing. I'm going to have to figure out which table and chairs I want to get for it. We didn't have any furniture on the other deck because we had a built in bench.
10:10 am
Show us more pix as it nears completion....i'd love to see the various stages of progress :) My aunt and uncle built all the decks on their homes.
07:29 pm
Oh, Krystriana, today’s your day / Let's sip and slurp in a magical way / With tea that's so fine / It’s birthday time! Hooray, hooray, hooray! #
10:08 am
Happy Caturday! 🫖🩵
10:09 am
Hello, lovely Adagians. Happy Saturday! I hope your day and weekend are starting off well. What's in your cup this morning, today's blend, or something else? I hope you enjoy whatever it is. I'm starting off with Irish Stout and a Boston Cream Donut (to celebrate first Saturday.). Hopefully, we'll get to barbeque late today. We shall see. God bless and have an amazing day! 😇🙏🫖🍪🍵📚...
10:12 am
Happy Birthday to all the lovely Adagians who are celebrating today. I lost my little birthday cupcake emoji when I broke my streak, but will wish you happiness with angel and honey emojis. Anyway, may your special day be filled with everything that makes you happy. God bless and may you have many happy returns. 😇🙏🫖🎂🍵🧁...
10:14 am
Morning all! I think mother nature is over compensating for the cold, cold winter, It has been in the mid eighties the last couple of days. I'd love to hear what is everyone's favorite tea (s) is for cold brewing or serving chilled. What, if anything, do you sweeten it with?
10:15 am
I’ve been enjoying hot brewed and then chilled Lychee Rose Green tea lately. I just love it iced. No sweetener needed.
10:47 am
Watermelon cooler and Thai tea are my go tos. I usually don’t sweeten them, but if I’m feeling indulgent I keep simple syrup in the fridge.
01:00 pm
For Chilled or iced tea...I don't sweeten those. Kona Pineapple, Lavender Lemon or Dragonfruit Dream are top fav herbal iced for me, currently. These are nice cold brewed or brewing--then icing. Also Blue Mango and Purple Papayaberry are nice cold brewed. My fav black teas iced...are Forest Berries, Coconut or Hibiscus--& I brew & then ice those, always.
01:10 pm
I love dragon fruit dream, not sweetened.
01:40 pm
Saving the CHAT streak..,.
10:29 am
Kathryn, those are one of my favorite flowers I miss from Arizona! I actually have some growing in my greenhouse this year🧡
10:33 am
I love having them to look at for the time they last.
01:36 pm
Good morning! I love a good lemon tea 🍋
10:33 am
Raining steady and strong here. Starting to accumulate in ditches and culverts but need moisture so I’ll take it💦💦💦
10:34 am
Rainy day here, thank goodness my plants are getting watered. Hope everyone’s weekend is going splendidly.
10:46 am
Having a rainy morning here in Missouri as well. 🌧️
11:32 am
Enjoying a cup of Dark Side of Bella Luna. Wonderful mouthfeel and flavor!
11:24 am
I love this one
11:30 am
That’s such a great tea!
01:10 pm
Happy Caturday!
12:07 pm
Yummy tea today! Meyer lemons have such a subtle flavor compared to other lemon varieties.
01:13 pm
We have a Meyer lemon tree in our yard, and that is what hubby uses in his iced tea.
02:09 pm
I had a small Meyer lemon tree growing in a pot. I forgot to bring it in for the winter and now I’m starting over.
03:38 pm
Very good tea today, I usually drink it iced but it was good hot with a little honey 🍯
01:51 pm
Todays tea was nice. I loved the subtle lemon flavor. A few rock sugar crystals gave it a touch more sweetness but not overwhelming the tea. I enjoyed it quite a bit. By the way, has anyone heard on when Teaster is coming? I know its on the rewards page, but im some points shy. Just curious is all.
01:53 pm
I'd guess--be on the lookout.... the Monday before Easter, for it to be available, as well as a gift with purchase.
02:01 pm
The lemon is a good touch
02:04 pm
I feel like for a "lemon" lead title.. it's lacking in that actual flavor, needs a squeeze too
02:24 pm
Finally getting to today's tea. Since early morning, I have been at a healing seminar for divorced Catholics put on by the Boston archdiocese. My first thought is wow. I totally love having a captive audience who cannot escape my stories and don't know the punchlines yet. Secondly it is gonna be ok. People grieve and cope in different ways. Psychologists help a lot.
03:24 pm
It's good to get counseling after such events in life. This will allow you to look at yourself as well and be more prepared for a future relationship. It will also re-open your heart to allow for a future relationship. But heal first. You cannot love someone else until you love yourself.
03:26 pm
I am a big believer in psychologists. I believe there are two types of people in this world. People that go to psychologists and those that don't but should. Relationship will come when it will. I am only really passively looking. Kinda lazy, kinda just like meeting everyone I see. It takes me FOREVER to get through a grocery store.
03:36 pm
I have been researching how to find a psychologist, seems like finding the right match is tricky. The one time I tried, I got a gentleman who told me I was too cheerful for him and he doesn't think he could handle me in the morning, and he had no idea how he could possibly help or work with me
03:44 pm
I am sorry Michelle. It really needs to be someone you are comfortable speaking with. I think it is a big and good first step for you though. In some circles, there is a stigma saying you need someone...so I always come out and share it on my banner right away.
03:59 pm
Haha! No stigma here, we all need therapists, for all different reasons! I have some caregiver fatigue and difficulty setting boundaries. I also live with two people with volatile emotions
04:32 pm
That's terrific. I chit chat with anyone who will half heartedly listen...lol It's fun being single, it's the happiest I've ever been. However, I'm finally open again to the idea of another relationship. However, my terms have gotten much more stringent. Like, no broke ass men sleeping in my bed. They must have their own place and car and be comfortable enough to afford their own lifestyle.
03:39 pm
In-laws are in town and wanted to treat their grandchildren so we went to stay with them at Great Wolf Lodge Kansas city. Love these places, my kids absolutely love the magiquest stuff. Trying to squeeze in time for tea was a little harder though lol.
03:48 pm
Oh interesting! Hope that you have fun!
04:17 pm
So rainy and gloomy here today. I hope you’re all having a good Saturday!
04:29 pm
if you haven't already, please remember to vote today! I've just slipped back into 8th (which is fine, I just don't want to fall further if we can help it). Please also pimp me out to your friends...lol. Every vote is going to matter! Voting lasts through June 5 if I make each cut. First Cut is this coming Thursday at 10 pm Eastern (7pm for those of us over on the West Coast). Top 20 gets me through the first cut. Next round, I'll need to be in the top 15, and it will continue to get harder. So please, pass me on to your mailman, your grocery cashier (if you still go through the cashiers), your doctor, your ex fiance, your kids besties and their cousins too! Did I forget anyone? Send them my link too! Tell them to pass me on! Please by all means share my recipes with them for them to decide if i'm worthy of their votes. My recipes are here: https://dragonflydezines.com/tea-recipes Vote here: https://favchef.com/2025/khrissi-satterfield
04:51 pm
Happy Caturday 🐈⬛
05:00 pm
This stuff tastes like lemonade
05:23 pm
I've been "absent" from CT lately primarily due to gardening during a period with some good conditions (dry and cool but not freezing/no snow or ice). My wintersown native plants are sprouting big time. I'm doing visual checks and tracking which of the 407 mostly small containers have seedlings (photos to data entry on my laptop), then separate the pots with sprouts into a different area. I've also been deciding which I really, really "NEED" ;) for my site and which to share at our May plant swaps. Then, relentless rain set in! A few nights ago, I'd been in bed a brief time when an emergency alert came up on my phone to notify of flash floods in the area-- most unusual! My family and I were not at risk, but in daylight, I did have to rescue some plant babies from drowning! Some weren't draining at all-- actually immersed in rain like seedweed in the ocean! Fingers crossed they'll be okay. Most seem resilient but I may lose a percentage that were buried under sodden potting mix-- mini mudslides. Keep in mind that most have a preference for medium-dry conditions since that's what my plot usually is. I've been wanting some of these species for years so really hate to lose specific ones I've dreamed of adding to the environment for wildlife's sake. It takes months of winter temperatures to grow some of these seeds but it's far more economical to DIY than to buy plants. A bit of it can be done with a refrigerator, but it's so much more efficient to let nature help the seeds break dormancy! Unless, that is, a person gets flash floods and "40 days & nights" of rainfall in a week. I do thank God that I haven't heard of anyone locally who's lost his/her life in this weather mess though some have had to be rescued by community helpers-- those who either ignorantly or defiantly persisted into areas where conditions were most dangerous. (A few actually MOVED specifically placed barriers!) No idea of the extent of property damage/loss in the area yet.
05:30 pm
Glad you're safe and most of your babies are safe!
05:32 pm
Thank you, Khrissi! Me too!!! :)
05:33 pm
Hello
05:35 pm
Today's tea is nicer than I was thinking it would be, since I don't normally put lemon in my tea. Still, like most flavored teas, it will probably be better for me sweetened.
06:12 pm
I’m so lucky! We made tea just before the power went out! If it is still out tomorrow, I have a jetboil, lol!
06:35 pm
Jetboils are the best!
06:39 pm
Yep that is my cat just chilling in the drier. Does anyone else’s cat like to do that?
06:38 pm
OMG, how adorable!!! 😻
08:04 pm
My cats are scared of the drier but the one cat loves to lay on warm, freshly folded clothes.
08:14 pm
I almost forgot to post a photo. I was busy getting to a gathering at the capital. It's a beautiful day on the Wasatch front, where the mountains meet the sky. I came home to my tea delivery!
06:39 pm
A random concoction--I made as an iced tea is suuuuper good. 1/3 of each: Cupid's cup, Blood Orange and Currant! Brew, then ICE. Mega tasty!! Beautiful colour, too!
06:49 pm
Sounds delicious. I don't have currant, but I have cranberry....hmmm
07:22 pm
Ended up having a solo adventure today (my friend had to bow out last minute) and went to Bryn Mawr, PA (about an hour north of me) to see the National Theatre Live (in London) recording of Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest" with Ncuti Gatwa. The show was hysterical, the cast was amazing, and I'm really glad I went.
07:33 pm
I'm so glad you had a good time, despite being solo. Solo stuff is fun! (just need to be a more careful and aware of surroundings)
07:45 pm
I totally agree! I don't always mind doing things solo.
09:15 pm
Went out today and finally bought some plants for the apartment....got a philodendron and two succulents for me and a round cactus for my son :) All repotted :) Now for tea!! Mission accomplished!
08:02 pm
i just started trying to grow succulents again - i usually kill them...
08:30 pm
That's the only one I've been able to keep happy, so far ... a bear paw one that came from a clipping from my grandma's plant. I also tried fountain grass (from seeds) and mint (from grocery store ones, both living and sprigs), and... nope. 😔
10:30 pm
Plants really help to make a home don’t they Julie?
11:38 pm
Nice day today.
08:47 pm
beautiful here too!
08:53 pm
Wow. I’m late today. It’s almost time to start a new day. Hope everyone had a good one!
08:59 pm
Nice easy day for me. I finally had a free Saturday to jusy play some games.
09:11 pm
Night Y'all ☕️
10:08 pm
Happy First Contact Day! 🖖
10:21 pm
Hey another of my Battle in the Enchanted Forest giant tins sold! Enjoy!!
10:59 pm
And a happy happy Caturday to you all! <3
11:00 pm
It was pretty good for a lemon tea.
11:24 pm
Snuck one in for today. lost all track of time
11:27 pm
Today was a odd time day...
11:40 pm
Good evening all. I’ve been at a conference and barely able to fit in a quick entry. I danced tonight and really enjoyed it. It’s been a while. I hope you enjoyed the Lemon Soleil today.
11:37 pm
Cold, windy, and rainy day today. We spent a good portion of it outside for football today. I’ll sure be glad when spring stops having these manic swings. Next weekends game day is looking to be at least 80°, hot compared to today’s 42°. Have a good evening everyone.
