Happy bell bottoms day! Do you own a pair? I have several, the challenge is sometimes you do trip yourself when walking with them ;) of course Gladys' cats trip her, trying to play with her bells!

Boot cut is as wide as I own. In fact, I've never had a pair because they're not a flattering cut for me.

Bell bottoms bring back fond high school memories. I'm short and there were no petite length jeans then. They had to be hemmed and lost a lot of bell 😂

I have extremely long legs (34" inseam) and was never able to find bell bottoms long enough. I now wear boot cut jeans and can find them long enough at NYDJ.

I did when they had a resurgence in the 90s. I was a kid so I didn’t realize how unflattering they were for my short legs. And because I’m so short they would drag on the ground and get so dirty!

G'day Teapals! Lemon Soliel is not a fav tea, by itself...in blends it's nice and I do like it iced, when it comes around in CT. So, I made a teacup infuser blend of goodness of Honeybush Banana Nut with Butterscotch.. with Selefina Banana slices.... What a treat! 🍞🍌🌰🍵🫖

Good morning! Let's share a DDTS tip, today. Mine's silly, but it works. I tend to drink certain teas on certain days of the month. For instance, I will be sipping Cinco de Mayo at some point today because it's a day of the month that ends in 5. This works two-fold, I pace myself through my supply until next May 5, but it also makes sure that I drink it and it doesn't get abandoned in the back of the cupboard. Similarly, I indulge in a cup of Brigadoon only on the 29th and/or last days of the month or Christmas-themed blends on the 25th.

Anneke, I pace myself with most of my tea—no special system. But I have so much tea that I never see a dent in what I have when I do that. So, I pick two or three to sacrifice first and drink more of them than of the rest. That way I can see some progress and reclaim some tea real estate. Some teas I will replace later. Some I may not, at least not immediately. I feel like I can be more successful if I can see some progress. Of course I tend to blow that progress by succumbing to the lure of more tea🫖

That is a great idea to have designated days for certain teas. I sometimes pick a tea or sample tin and drink that as an extra cup until it's gone. Sometimes, I realize that I have more than one of something and I drink that.

Good morning all!! What a delightful tea today, nice and lemony and even better with a touch of honey - I quite enjoyed sampling it while hot. I’m looking forward to enjoying the rest of the cup iced with lunch! 😁 (I’m an iced tea gal, and have Mango Green I just cold brewed last night - so that’s my morning!)

I love Adagio teas--iced, as well! The Mango Powder, on the Selefina site, is awesome in Mango teas, btw!!

I think I have surrendered to tea. It has taken over, and there is nothing I can do about it! I do love to have choices. Tis the season for all of the light, fruity teas. Yum!

Ruth, it is amazing how things pile up, and then you take a look at them and ask yourself why in the world you still have it. I have labels for floppy and hard disks...I mean really????

Morning all! I think mother nature is over compensating for the cold, cold winter, It has been in the mid eighties the last couple of days. I'd love to hear what is everyone's favorite tea (s) is for cold brewing or serving chilled. What, if anything, do you sweeten it with?

I’ve been enjoying hot brewed and then chilled Lychee Rose Green tea lately. I just love it iced. No sweetener needed.

Watermelon cooler and Thai tea are my go tos. I usually don’t sweeten them, but if I’m feeling indulgent I keep simple syrup in the fridge.

For Chilled or iced tea...I don't sweeten those. Kona Pineapple, Lavender Lemon or Dragonfruit Dream are top fav herbal iced for me, currently. These are nice cold brewed or brewing--then icing. Also Blue Mango and Purple Papayaberry are nice cold brewed. My fav black teas iced...are Forest Berries, Coconut or Hibiscus--& I brew & then ice those, always.

I love dragon fruit dream, not sweetened.

Yummy tea today! Meyer lemons have such a subtle flavor compared to other lemon varieties.

We have a Meyer lemon tree in our yard, and that is what hubby uses in his iced tea.

I had a small Meyer lemon tree growing in a pot. I forgot to bring it in for the winter and now I’m starting over.

Very good tea today, I usually drink it iced but it was good hot with a little honey 🍯

Todays tea was nice. I loved the subtle lemon flavor. A few rock sugar crystals gave it a touch more sweetness but not overwhelming the tea. I enjoyed it quite a bit. By the way, has anyone heard on when Teaster is coming? I know its on the rewards page, but im some points shy. Just curious is all.

I'd guess--be on the lookout.... the Monday before Easter, for it to be available, as well as a gift with purchase.

Finally getting to today's tea. Since early morning, I have been at a healing seminar for divorced Catholics put on by the Boston archdiocese. My first thought is wow. I totally love having a captive audience who cannot escape my stories and don't know the punchlines yet. Secondly it is gonna be ok. People grieve and cope in different ways. Psychologists help a lot.

It's good to get counseling after such events in life. This will allow you to look at yourself as well and be more prepared for a future relationship. It will also re-open your heart to allow for a future relationship. But heal first. You cannot love someone else until you love yourself.

I am a big believer in psychologists. I believe there are two types of people in this world. People that go to psychologists and those that don't but should. Relationship will come when it will. I am only really passively looking. Kinda lazy, kinda just like meeting everyone I see. It takes me FOREVER to get through a grocery store.

I have been researching how to find a psychologist, seems like finding the right match is tricky. The one time I tried, I got a gentleman who told me I was too cheerful for him and he doesn't think he could handle me in the morning, and he had no idea how he could possibly help or work with me

I am sorry Michelle. It really needs to be someone you are comfortable speaking with. I think it is a big and good first step for you though. In some circles, there is a stigma saying you need someone...so I always come out and share it on my banner right away.

Haha! No stigma here, we all need therapists, for all different reasons! I have some caregiver fatigue and difficulty setting boundaries. I also live with two people with volatile emotions

That's terrific. I chit chat with anyone who will half heartedly listen...lol It's fun being single, it's the happiest I've ever been. However, I'm finally open again to the idea of another relationship. However, my terms have gotten much more stringent. Like, no broke ass men sleeping in my bed. They must have their own place and car and be comfortable enough to afford their own lifestyle.

In-laws are in town and wanted to treat their grandchildren so we went to stay with them at Great Wolf Lodge Kansas city. Love these places, my kids absolutely love the magiquest stuff. Trying to squeeze in time for tea was a little harder though lol.

This stuff tastes like lemonade

I've been "absent" from CT lately primarily due to gardening during a period with some good conditions (dry and cool but not freezing/no snow or ice). My wintersown native plants are sprouting big time. I'm doing visual checks and tracking which of the 407 mostly small containers have seedlings (photos to data entry on my laptop), then separate the pots with sprouts into a different area. I've also been deciding which I really, really "NEED" ;) for my site and which to share at our May plant swaps. Then, relentless rain set in! A few nights ago, I'd been in bed a brief time when an emergency alert came up on my phone to notify of flash floods in the area-- most unusual! My family and I were not at risk, but in daylight, I did have to rescue some plant babies from drowning! Some weren't draining at all-- actually immersed in rain like seedweed in the ocean! Fingers crossed they'll be okay. Most seem resilient but I may lose a percentage that were buried under sodden potting mix-- mini mudslides. Keep in mind that most have a preference for medium-dry conditions since that's what my plot usually is. I've been wanting some of these species for years so really hate to lose specific ones I've dreamed of adding to the environment for wildlife's sake. It takes months of winter temperatures to grow some of these seeds but it's far more economical to DIY than to buy plants. A bit of it can be done with a refrigerator, but it's so much more efficient to let nature help the seeds break dormancy! Unless, that is, a person gets flash floods and "40 days & nights" of rainfall in a week. I do thank God that I haven't heard of anyone locally who's lost his/her life in this weather mess though some have had to be rescued by community helpers-- those who either ignorantly or defiantly persisted into areas where conditions were most dangerous. (A few actually MOVED specifically placed barriers!) No idea of the extent of property damage/loss in the area yet.

Today's tea is nicer than I was thinking it would be, since I don't normally put lemon in my tea. Still, like most flavored teas, it will probably be better for me sweetened.

I’m so lucky! We made tea just before the power went out! If it is still out tomorrow, I have a jetboil, lol!

I almost forgot to post a photo. I was busy getting to a gathering at the capital. It's a beautiful day on the Wasatch front, where the mountains meet the sky. I came home to my tea delivery!

A random concoction--I made as an iced tea is suuuuper good. 1/3 of each: Cupid's cup, Blood Orange and Currant! Brew, then ICE. Mega tasty!! Beautiful colour, too!

Ended up having a solo adventure today (my friend had to bow out last minute) and went to Bryn Mawr, PA (about an hour north of me) to see the National Theatre Live (in London) recording of Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest" with Ncuti Gatwa. The show was hysterical, the cast was amazing, and I'm really glad I went.

I'm so glad you had a good time, despite being solo. Solo stuff is fun! (just need to be a more careful and aware of surroundings)

Went out today and finally bought some plants for the apartment....got a philodendron and two succulents for me and a round cactus for my son :) All repotted :) Now for tea!! Mission accomplished!

i just started trying to grow succulents again - i usually kill them...

That's the only one I've been able to keep happy, so far ... a bear paw one that came from a clipping from my grandma's plant. I also tried fountain grass (from seeds) and mint (from grocery store ones, both living and sprigs), and... nope. 😔

Good evening all. I’ve been at a conference and barely able to fit in a quick entry. I danced tonight and really enjoyed it. It’s been a while. I hope you enjoyed the Lemon Soleil today.

Cold, windy, and rainy day today. We spent a good portion of it outside for football today. I’ll sure be glad when spring stops having these manic swings. Next weekends game day is looking to be at least 80°, hot compared to today’s 42°. Have a good evening everyone.
