I wonder the same thing, Ruth. Every time I see “natural flavor”, I think of back in the day when Castoreum was explained, “a natural flavoring that comes from the anal sacs of beavers. It's used in some foods to add a vanilla-raspberry flavor.” Mmmmm, beaver butt. 😝

Today's tea sounds wonderful, and I have had it on my Wish List for a bit. I am a bit confused about Year of the Snake. From what I can tell, it is black tea and peppermint. Is that correct? I started the day with Huckleberry Happiness (from another vendor) and hubby had Yunnan Black Snail. I hope you are enjoying the long weekend (if you have one, that is).

Yaaay for Huckleberry everything! Yeah, so about the year of the Snake tea, at first I was wishing the Peppermint wasn't there. Then I was reminded that I like Candy Cane tea and also my 'Irish Mint Chill' blend....so..I'll probably quite like it. I make my own take on the Chinese Zodiac teas, each year...And I made this blend with the idea that one could opt to BYOGuava Creme to it, and enjoy this iced! Some beautiful quotes from the article:: 'At this meeting, Thây told Dr. King, “Martin, you know something? Reflecting but I had an internship in college that has stuck with me reliving the Civil rights movement for the AFL-CIO. Feel so fortunate to have briefly met so many leaders like Lewis and Jackson. The book/series in my picture is such a worthwhile time investment.

Steve, I went to a speech Jackson gave to Chicago area high school students. He was amazing. I was taking a speech class and gave my speech on his speech and speaking style. That was years and years and years ago, but I will never forget it. I got an A+ on my speech, by the way, and I am not very comfortable in front of people...however, I felt so strongly about my subject matter that I forgot to be nervous.

I’m using this chat to keep track of how I felt about each tea. A new one each day makes them blur together. The Carmel apple harvest is good if I’m looking for an apple flavored tea. I would buy it for an apple themed event. Since we live in a community of orchards it has me thinking of opportunities. It is very good but not one I’d order for my regular drink. It’s best when you stick to the three minute brewing time.

284 days till Halloween 💜🎃💜 Happy Monday and Martin Luther King Day, having a rough go as I was in the Er Friday, im having severe pain from my procedure, but no one can figure out why, so now I just have to keep bouncing between drs till someone figures something out. I'm absolutely miserable and may have to just accept this as new pain and get used to it. Not a great start to 2025. Hope everyone else is doing good and staying warm, it's downright Hoth outside. 💜🐈‍⬛💜

Just wanted to vent that FedEx stinks. They claimed to have left my package at my door. The photo did not look like my door so I went searching for it door to door. But then I found it at the bottom of my driveway near my mailbox in the snow where anyone walking by could have grabbed it. It had been out there for hours. Just thinking that was lousy.
