Pink Floyd and The Piper at the Gates of Dawn. this was released in England on August 4th, 1967. what a wonderful and interesting debut. The title was taken from the book "The Wind in the Willows" it describes Rat and Mole encountering the god Pan, and Syd Barrett, a founding member of Pink Floyd, was a fan of the book and resonated with the mystical energy of Pan.
