Description

A wonderful introduction to the wide range of Honeybush teas. Each sample makes about 8-10 cups of tea. This set includes (though subject to change):

honeybush, honeybush apricot, honeybush chocolate, honeybush mango, honeybush orange & honeybush vanilla

Story

Just like it's 'sister' tea, the Honeybush plant grows only near the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa. Just like a good sister, it shares many similarities with rooibos, but its flavor is sweeter. The plant is named appropriately, as the flowers exude a sweet, honey-like scent.

"The sampler overall is good. Although, I like the honeybush vanilla the most! Also, I like mixing same honeybush tea with peppermint if I want a caffiene-free flavored tea sometimes."

"Some of these were very good and a few just so so. I like the honeybush chocolate, although I tweak it with an extra bit of cocoa when I brew it. The honeybush mango is very good."

"I have enjoyed every honeybush I've made so far and they all smell wonderful. Again I wish the flavoring were peices of fruit not just flavorings."

"Honeybush is very sweet. I would suggest honey as a sweetener if you like your sweet. Sugar was just too overpowering."

"It took a bit to catch on to this one. Above all else, you must use *boiling* water, don't let it cool at all. Anything less results in very weak, unimpressive flavor. However, done right, the flavors are outstanding. My wife is a big fan of these, especially the vanilla and chocolate."
