I'm a geology student, with a fondness for igneous rocks. This is the batch of plutonic rock themed teas. Granite is the light colored, intrusive igneous felsic variety. I took this photograph for the tea from a thin section of granite in cross polarized light. It contains feldspars, quartz, and mica varieties, and several texture features.
