Description
In the 18th century, it was discovered that if long-haul sailors drank lime juice, their chances of getting scurvy were dramatically reduced. British sailors began drinking it by the gallons, and quickly became known as 'limeys.' This Ceylon black tea flavored with sweet and sour limes is sure to delight you, limey or not.
"Possibly the strongest lime-flavored product I've ever encountered. :) Try it iced!"
"I thought this sounded unusual and it certainly was. I love the citron green but the lime just didn't really go well with black tea."
"This is a strong tea. I like it but it is not my favorite. I brew it less time than recommended. "
"I got this expecting it would make a good iced tea, or a refreshing change of pace mixed with a black...not so much. I really disliked this one, too acidic and bitter, even on a short steep."
"This was a fun one to try - just a basic black tea with lime flavor. But it was a nice treat with a slice of lime added."
"Very good. I mix in a little lemon or ginger for an interesting flavor combination."
