"I got the triniTEA tea maker as the main part of a gift set for my mom for Christmas, so it also came with the tea book, a sample tea, and beautiful gift wrap. Delivery was prompt, and no damage could be discerned. As to the product itself, I found little to complain about because it worked as advertised. I agree that a detailed instruction manual would be a great addition to the tea maker. Certainly, the learning curve is not difficult, but the instruction manual would eliminate all the guess work that the customer would initially have and eliminate many of the frustrations that have been expressed about proper use, and I do not see why it would be hard or taxing to make; I imagine an instruction manual would not be more than ten pages long max in easy to read text with diagrams. For anyone reading this, please note that one of the papers that come with the tea maker explains the appropriate tea time and temperature setting for each type of tea. Finally, if I have any real complaint, it is that once in a while the machine will keep beeping and refusing to make tea shortly after turning the machine on indicating that something is wrong. I supposed sometimes the reason should be obvious, but sometimes it is not, and I find myself trying to align and make other adjustments to the various parts trying to figure it out. Fortunately, the problem has been resolved after some minutes guessing fixes for each of the few times it has happened."

"This tea maker is definitely a great idea. It does what it says it is going to do and I like all the different settings. It's so nice not to have to hover around waiting for water to boil and then for tea to steep. I can set it, go take a shower and have tea waiting for me when I am ready. The only problems I have with it is that a lot of tea dust gets through the strainer and it's just not hot enough for me. Even when I get it right when it is done, it has cooled off significantly. If you don't like your tea piping hot and don't mind straining your tea out of the carafe, this is definitely a good product to have."

"We love the tea maker. It does all the work and timing while we are busy. Easy to clean. the lid and pot combination could use improvement...it drips when you pour. We are used to the lid now and found if you put press on the lid with your finger while pouring, it will not drip. Would recommend."
