Something tells me Grunkle Stan was probably friends with the likes of P.T. Barnum. He comes off as a bit of a curmudgeon, but has a soft spot for the twins. I imagine he smells faintly of tabacco, sideshows and bay rum aftershave. Also, he wears a fez and we all know fezzes are cool.
