Green Needle

"An excellent surprise! Much fuller aroma and flavor than I would have expected from leaves that don't really unfold or bloom while steeping. Haven't had the bitterness problem that other folks have had -- I steep at around 172 for 3 minutes, but I think the key is that I'm using fairly scant spoonfuls . . . initially I thought I'd need more since there was so little expansion while steeping, but no, they give up a *lot* of flavor from a small number of leaves. This is a new fave for me."
