Description

An ancient Hindu legend recounts the story of the mango tree growing from the ashes of the sun princess who had been incinerated by an evil sorceress. When the mango ripened and fell to the ground, the beautiful sun princess emerged. Our bestselling Mango Tea combines the taste of Ceylon tea with the flavor of perfectly ripened mangoes. Sun princess sold separately.

Story

Mango originated in Southeast Asia, where it had been cultivated for over four-thousand years. Since its discovery, mango groves have spread to many parts of the world, though mostly the tropical and sub-tropical climates. As a result, there are over a thousand different varieties of the mango plant in existence. The mango tree is an evergreen that will grow to 60 feet in height. But it's not benign. Mango leaves are toxic, and may be lethal to grazing animals. The mangoes sold in the US mainly come from Mexico and the Caribbean.

"Phenomenal tea! For those who enjoy a lighter cut of tea, steep for a little less time - because it is pretty strong. However, when warm you can taste the black teas with a little bit of mango. While room temperature, it has a great mango after taste. And iced the mango really pops out. Great tea - will definitely get it again!"

"Very nice with a touch of honey which brings out the sweetness of the mango. Also excellent as an iced tea."

"Great taste to it but it is light, not strong. Use more for a stronger taste. I added just a dash of Sun Crystals, adds just a little sweetness to it. I would get again!! "

"I love this tea. It is a perfect afternoon pick me up. The mango is not too strong and gives the tea a touch of sweetness."

"This tea has a great mango flavor. I had it hot blended with vanilla tea and loved it. I think it would be great iced, too!"
