does the infuser fit in this tea pot

I use the infuser that came with the ceramic mugs/ cups. It does not fit all the way down on the lip of the teapot, but I find that it works great.

I know it doesn't have a metal mesh basket. Does this teapot have any sort of filter in it so you can use loose leaf tea?

Hello Cassie! This has a built-in infuser, holes on the teapot wall that connects to the spout. This teapot is great for larger leaf teas, but smaller ones like Rooibos would get through.

Hello Cathy! We don't recommend this teapot also be used as a kettle. If you'd like a 2-in-1 we'd recommend our Glazed Iron teapots.
