A passionate, unapologetically strong blend is exactly what you'd expect from Rei. This tea warms the chakras with thai chai and grounds you with puerh spice, and bit of oriental spice imparts an exotic flavor appealing to Rei's audacious personality. Safflower petals dance through the tea like Mars Fire, for a cup of tea that's raring to go.
In my experience, black teas shine around 180-195F/82-90C. I prefer the lower end of the bracket, personally. I think the flavor comes out smoother, crisper, and with less tannins and the leaves resteep better. This tea will get approximately 3 resteeps. If you want stronger flavor, add more tea leaves, not more time. To prepare iced, simply use twice the tea leaves and half the water you usually would. Use the same amount of time (3 minutes). Drop over a full cup of ice, to flash chill and dilute to regular strength. To conserve leaves, just steep hot and put into the fridge.
