Because Claudio starts out very boyish and young at the start of his story, something zesty and very fresh would be best. Hazelnut then blends into the citrus for balance as Claudio the Writer and Claudio the Character begin to blend. The chocolate catches by surprise, much like the events of Claudio's life as we watch him descend into madness. The story ends for our hero with a bittersweetness, represented by the caramel flavors within the blend.
