Wedding cakes to me (and trust me I'm a pastry chef) can be just about any flavor variation that is out there. They don't just have to be plain boring white cake. This flavor combination has a creamy base, but is accented with almonds and apricots. It's similar to an almond cake with a bit of apricot jam between the layers and covered in frosting.
