There's more than one kind of funky out there, and this tea is definitely one of the good kinds. That odd but compelling and ultimately pleasant note winding through the two types of berries (black and blue) is guanabana. Steep this one for under three minutes -- 2.5 is good, and if you're a no-sweetener kind of person it's perfectly drinkable, but like most ceylons, it really sings with a little sweetness added. (Truvia and turbinado sugar both work swimmingly)
This tea contains a low level of caffeine | Steep at 212° for 3 minutes.
My name is Eleanor, and I'm a tea addict. I'm okay with this because tea is good for you, and Adagio makes it *uber* simple to indulge a tea addiction in healthy and entertaining ways. A side effect of my habit is that I have a *lot* of tea flavors, and some of them need to get used up to make room for more. So I've been playing Mad Tea Science with flavors I don't use much -- in this case guanabana and blackberry. The results have been interesting and absolutely delicious. Enjoy!
