Description

Want to find that tea treasure that hasn't quite hit the popularity radar yet? Our Passionfruit tea artfully combines the pleasantly sweet tropical flavor of a fresh passionfruit with the bright, lively taste of Ceylon black tea. So if you're passionate about great flavored teas, look no further. Give our Passionfruit tea a try.

Story

The name of "passionfruit" resulted from the diaries of early Spanish missionaries who recorded accounts of seeing the flowers during church holiday seasons, especially during the Lent and Easter holidays, reminding them of the passion of Christ. Today, the use of the tangy passion fruit juice is said to soothe the sensual and lusty passions of savage taste buds, a far cry from the early church writings. Native to Brazil, passion fruits are presently grown in Hawaii, Florida, and California.

"There isn't any hint of passionfruit-tastes like plain black tea. It still tastes good. I think there should be more passionfruit flavor."

"Tea was just OK. I don't think I would get it again. I added just a dash of Sun Crystals, adds just a little sweetness to it but didn't really help. I would get again!! "

"I purchased this tea specifically to be used in brewing up pitchers of sun tea (I took a liking to it at a couple of restaurants I frequent). Especially in this current heat, it's a great way to stay hydrated and have a delicious beverage. I take 1/3 cup of tea to 1 gallon of water, leave it in a place that gets a full day of sun, refrigerate it over night, and bam, delicious sun tea. "
