Tea lovers can enjoy the scent of signature Adagio Teas with their collection of tea candles. In seven invigorating varieties based on Adagio's signature teas, these candles will delight your senses and infuse your rooms with a variety of flavors.

With a lingering scent, the soy wax candles enhance the ambiance of your home, just as a cup of Adagio's signature teas can transport you to a happy and relaxing place.

Candles are a welcome addition to every room in your home, and with these five tips, you're sure to get the best experience from your Adagio Tea candles.

Here are tips to enhance your Adagio Tea candle experience:

1. Keep the wick trimmed

Eager candle burners often skip the step of trimming a candle's wick to 1/4" before burning the first time the candle is lit, and every time thereafter.

A properly trimmed wick will help the candle burn more slowly and last longer. When trimming the wick, make sure the wax has solidified and try not to let any of the cuttings fall into the glass or the candle surface as they can make a mess of the wax with the accumulated soot.

2. Allow a long first burn

The first time you light your Adagio candle, plan to let it burn for 3 to 4 hours. This allows the wax to melt uniformly across the top, reaching the outer edges of the candle, and helps avoid a burn straight down the wick.

Of course, candle lovers need to avoid burning candles for too long as well. Candles can get too hot, causing the wick to become more exposed, which will lead to uneven future burns. Be sure to allow time between burns for the candle to cool down and the wax to solidify before trimming the wick and lighting up again.

3. Try combining scents

Much like Adagio teas, blending candle aromas in classic tea flavors can infuse your rooms with comforting scents. Try pairing Jasmine and Vanilla for a relaxing evening. Peppermint and Green Tea will uplift your spirits (and maybe your appetite.) And try Masala Chai paired with Lemongrass for a unique, earthy mood booster.

With seven scents to choose from, there's an Adagio tea candle for your every mood.

4. Reuse the candleholders

Adagio's 5 oz. candleholders can be used for all sorts of things when the candle is finished. Instead of recycling your now-empty candleholder, try using it as a pen and pencil holder, flower vase, or stylish container for most anything.

Yes, the leftover wax can be a pain to remove, but try one of these tricks to get every last drop out of your holder:

Place the candleholder in the freezer for a few hours, and gently press on the leftover wax with a spoon. The wax should pop off, and leave a clean surface.

Pour boiling water into the candleholder and allow the wax to melt and float to the top of the container. Let it cool, then pop out the wax from the top and repeat if necessary.

Pre-heat an oven to a low temperature (200°F). Place the candleholder upside down on a cookie sheet or tray lined with foil and parchment paper. Heat it in the oven for 15 minutes, then removed from wax-covered parchment to new parchment to cool.

Whichever method you choose, be sure to handle hot surfaces properly, and wash and dry the candleholder when fully cooled.

5. Never leave a burning candle unattended

We're sure we don't even need to mention this, but if you leave the room, or are going to fall asleep, extinguish your candle(s). Safety first, in this and everything!

Following these tips will allow you to get the most out of your Adagio tea candle, and help infuse your home with warm, delicious scents.
