This tea is made to drink when you feel tired, after a hard day of work like WALL-E put in for 700 years. This tea is bold, supporting milk nicely, and warms you right up. Ginger adds more warmth and a bit of a kick.
This tea contains a moderate level of caffeine | Steep at 150° for 2 minutes.
WALL-E works very hard, so I wanted to make a tea for somebody who is tired. Between black tea and ginger, it's sort of an energy drink. I started with the lapsang and the ginger and wasn't sure where to go from there, but then I remembered aged Pu erh tea and thought it'd fit the tea's character well. I tried it and was surprised by how well the smoky lapsang and mellow pu erh can work together. I hope you enjoy it!
I recommend trying this lightly sweetened. I used crystalized ginger to test the blend and the hint of sweetness was great.
