I wish you had one of those cool sample sets for all of your Lebowski teas. They are so awesome and souls make a great display.

I expected this to be tasty and was not disappointed. It’s a friendly little tea, better with a sweetening analog, and I will definitely order this one again.

Oh, wow. I expected this to be pleasant but holy bejeebers is it ever tasty! I'm definitely going to be getting more of this scrumptiousness.

Tart and sweet and obviously fruity. Wonderful warm or cold, seems to really come alive with a little sweetener.

This flavor is an absolute hoot ~ it actually tastes like banana bread! I thoroughly enjoyed it, and will be ordering more to experiment with during Mad Tea Science!

Absolutely scrumptious! This has become one of my new favorites -- sweet, oddly buttery, and fabulous with cream and sugar.

Dessert teas are splendid to begin with, and this one s really quite good for hitting one s sweet tooth. It s fun to use in blends as well. Pro tip: add a snazzy flavored creamer to get all kinds of decadent.

This is one of my new top favorites. Given how much I like tea, and how MANY teas I like, that's saying something. It's scrumptious.

Lovely, fruity, pleasantly weird. Watermelon is not a flavor I expect in a hot tea (it's nice iced, too) but I'd get it again.

I am a blueberry farmer, and fond of most things blueberry. I am also fond of green rooibos blueberry tea. Is it tart and bitey like a blueberry off the bush? No, it's better. It's sweet and friendly like blueberry jam. Well, not *that* sweet on its own, but it jams up real nice when you pile on the sugar like I'm wont to do when I'm having a rough day. This tea is a very good 'rough day' tea, and I look forward to having time to play with it in blends.

Everything Adagio does with jasmine is wonderful, everything they do with pearls is wonderful, and everything about these jasmine phoenix pearls is wonderful. They're floral, delicate and intense at the same time, and you can steep them more than once which is always a bonus in my book. I would and will buy these babies again.

Poor honeybush apricot. It's such a lovely tea, and it plays so well with others, and I always end up making it when I've just had one of my other favorites (orange, jasmine, Mojo) and I think it's lovely but my socks aren't blown off, because it's so friendly. It's like the golden retriever of teas. It's that nice boy that gets thought of as a friend. It's a really lovely tea that deserves more individual attention than I tend to give it. I'll say this, though: it really rounds out a fruity blend -- if you're into mad tea science, make sure you've got this little puppy in your toolkit. It really ties the blend together.

Adagio has like, a billion different kinds of Earl Grey -- some with cream, some with orange, some with lavender -- every single one of them is brilliant. The decaf is no exception. The only thing different is that you won't be up in the wee hours of the morning hammering out tea reviews like a coked-up monkey because all those scrumptious cups of tea you drank were caffeinated and now you can't freaking sleep!

Oolong is weird. I love tea but oolong, man, it's weird. There's that... oolongyness thing, you know? If you like that oolongy thing, this is a lovely example of it, with vanilla. I can tell it's very well done, and yet... oolongy. Yeah.

Caramel is one of those things you either like or you don't. It's sticky sweet and kind of cloying, and everything about it is over the top. If you like caramel (and I do) you'll like this tea. It's caramel. Tea. I tend to use it in blends more than drinking it alone, but really, isn't that what we do with caramel anyway?
Mar 17th '13
This is bar none the best vanilla tea I have ever had. It's aggressively creamy and smells divine, and it blends like nobody's business while still being an everyday 'go to' tea. Best. Vanilla. Ever.

Move over, sliced bread, there's a new bet thing ever. This puppy is FABULOUS! Aside from the usefulness for making iced tea, and for making multiple huge mugs of tea, this is wonderful for playing with signature blends. I make a lot of blends, and usually I use the (awesome) paper filters, but this makes it so much easier to test flavors in multiple ways (warm, sweet, iced, with or without cream, etc) It's also really nice for multiple steepings of teas, and I like being able to see the color of the brew, which is often how I decide when it's 'done' (very scientific, I know. That's why it's *mad* tea science!) Anyhoo -- I highly recommend the iced Ingenuitea, and am so very tickled I chose it over another big sample restocking. It gets a daily workout now, and this summer I betcha it's going to be going non-stop (we tend to consume vast quantities of Double Rainbow ATW and Mojo and so forth during the sweltering months, and it's nice not to have to use a pot to make a big-ish batch of tea)

Okay, so, I blend a lot of tea. I drink, oh, gallons of the stuff in a week (week, yes, that sounds less fanatic than 'day', right?) and I use the bejeebers out of the awesome little paper filters Adagio has, and saw no need for this odd little contraption, even though Adagio has my FABULOUS Zombie Romance blend recommended on the Ingenuitea page (Woohoo! Yes! You DO want it to be part of your Zombie Survival Kit! Get 10 or so bags, you never know how long the post will be disrupted.) Anyhoo, so I wan't wooed, despite my faith in Adagio contraptions in general... UNTIL... a friend of mine whom I'd gotten hooked, er, *introduced* to Adagio teas got one and I used it while visiting her house. Dude! It's awesome! What I especially love about it: you can do a quick splurt to see if your blend is steeped the way you want it (I have a lot I like in different intensities, so this is fabulous) What I'm not so stoked about: it's like, regular mug sized. Regular mugs? Who the hell drinks tea from regular mugs? Doesn't everyone have ginormous novelty mugs from which they inhale gallons of tea every da.. week? It's large enough for two dainty teacups (okay, that's fun) or one normal-sized mug. It makes tea easier to make, if you're not into the whole calming ritual of the process, which is why I got this as a christmas gift (for my *mom*, so you know it's good.) Anyhoo -- is it worth the price? Well, yeah, actually. It seems especially suited to an office environment, and it's kind of fun to use. So check it out, and *definitely* stock up on the Zombie Romance blend to go with it. Just in case.

What a scrumptious flavor! Far less minty than expected, it reminds me of that peppermint/white chocolate 'bark' you run across during the holidays. Which is actually very tasty in tea form! This is definitely one I'll get again.

I don't think it's possible for Adagio to offer a jasmine tea that's not splendid. This one's a little earthier than the pearls, more substantive, if that makes any sense.
Nov 26th '12
This is much smoother and sweeter than I would have imagined, and I really rather like it. Fruity, more like canned cranberry sauce than actual cranberries.
Nov 26th '12
This is a cheerful little blend. It's bright, citrussy, and crowd friendly.
Nov 26th '12
As someone who favors flavors, I've been won over by Adagio's rather fine black teas, and this one is very high on my list. Tasty, hard to screw up, and crowd friendly.

These. Are. AWESOME! Aside from being incredibly delicious and re-steepable, they're so incredibly *handy!* It's not like tea takes a long time to make, really, but dropping a couple of the pearls into a mug and moving on is really nice when you're busy and don't have time to enjoy the slightly more ritualized aspects of making tea. And it's really nicely flavored -- I don't have an extensive vocabulary for black tea, but it's friendly, and while not sweet exactly, there's a sweetness in there. I can drink it without sweetener, and it can steep for, well, it can just stay in your cup until you've resteeped several times, which again: handy. I love these. Also, the name? Fabulous. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be getting more of these.
Oct 20th '12
This tea is *fascinating!* It's like licking a campfire without getting burned. It's very smoky, and intense, and very good. I got the sample size, but will definitely be getting more.
Oct 13th '12
This one was lovely, and a clever idea ~ if you're in the Earl Grey with cream crowd like me, you'll dig this blend. It's like Earl Grey's friendly aunt, or something. I'd be more enthusiastic about it, but I tried it at the same time as the Earl Grey Lavender, and that was so good that it overshadowed poor moonlight, despite moonlight's prettier name. (Sorry, moonlight ~ your'e still wonderful!)
Oct 13th '12
Okay, this one really surprised me ~ I love the *look* of the lavender, but I wasn't sure I'd dig the taste with Earl Grey. OMG! It's so good! I keep meaning to use it in my Mad Tea Science sessions (in which I test blend ideas and create awesome new signature blends ~ which you should check out) but every time -- EVERY TIME -- I open the bag I end up making a cup of it by itself. So, in actuality, it may be a little *too* good. Hm. Anyway, I'll be getting it again, and soon, because I'm almost out of it.
Oct 13th '12
Peppermint tea is pepperminty! And also good -- it's hard to go wrong with peppermint leaves as tea, and the usual Adagio quality is present in this herbal tea. Excellent blending ingredient, and nice and strong. I'll definitely get more.
Oct 13th '12
This is a charmingly simple flavor, and an excellent blending ingredient. I'm not sure I'd be able to identify that the berry-ness was raspberry in particular, but it *is* very good, and I'd get it again.
Oct 13th '12
Absolutely delicious ~ very much like a lemon cookie. If lemon cookies were liquid, they'd taste like this. Highly recommended I just leave the teabag in the cup, usually ~ it never gets too strong

I love the concept of these, and they're fabulous for playing with different blends. The only problem is it's not really easy to get the flap to *stay* tucked in. This may be an operator error on my part, though, so don't let it scare you off. Unless you freak out if there are a few loose tea bits floating around in your tea, you may find these useful. It's also nice to be able to make a big bag for huge mugs, and the little roobios pieces are more likely to stay put in these (if you don't stir while the bag's in the cup) than in most other small mesh infuser devices.

I use Honeybush Vanilla in a lot of my blends, but I also love it straight -- moreso than many other serviceable flavors. It's comfort tea. It's the love-worn wubbie of honeybush flavors. If you serve Honeybush Vanilla to someone and they don't care for it, keep a very close eye on them. They may not be human.
Mar 20th '12
Oh, my, this one surprised me. I thought it would be nice, but it's *really* nice -- bright, laid-back, friendly. If it were a color it would be leaf green and canary yellow stripes.
Mar 20th '12
There's something fabulously earthy about this rooibos mango. It plays well with others and is perfectly potable all by its lonesome.
Feb 15th '11
I'm not really familiar with mate tea, so I can't offer a comparative review, but it's an interesting flavor. I'd recommend ordering a sample, at the very least.
Jan 31st '11
This is like the golden retriever of chai. It's friendly, while still being reasonably exuberant and unlikely to bite unless you do something really weird to it.
Jan 31st '11
Exceptionally delicious! Sweet and fruity with a kind of a nutty undertone to the chocolate -- if you like dessert tea, you like this flavor.
Jan 31st '11
I'm a huge fan of earl grey, and this is, by far, the most spectacular earl grey I've ever tasted. Crisp and strong and chock full of bergamotty goodness.
Jan 14th '11
I adore this tea -- the flavor itself is lovely but what I really really love is the aftertase. It's like you stuck your tongue into another dimension in which everything is mad with flower blossoms, even the air.

So, yeah, I ordered a couple of these as holiday gifts for folks and they were perfectly serviceable. Nice big steeping area, simple design, decent quality for the (eensy) price.
