The American Classical League was founded in 1919 for the purpose of fostering the study of classical languages in the United States and Canada. Membership is open to any person who is committed to the preservation and advancement of our classical inheritance from Greece and Rome. The American Classical League includes teachers of Latin, Greek, and Classics on elementary, secondary, and college levels. The League is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2019. We are working together to help each other.
