this tea was intended to be invigorating, zesty, and a bit spicy, as it was based on a brash and sarcastic pyromaniacal mage hawke. the obvious base for a tea for a woman of the caliber is chai, and because masala chai is the most spicy, exuberant blend offered by adagio, i couldn't imagine anything better suited for the character.
in witchcraft (cause she's a mage, get it?), orange (both the color and the fruit) are associated with prosperity and wealth, things this hawke is a big fan of.
as little miss lina's personality is brash and bold (and slightly pyromaniacal?), what better choice to add to this tea off with than the exotic and smokey gunpowder?
the cinnamon finish was rooted in a both physiological and witchy belief that cinnamon is an stimulant, and its invigorating powers are not to be denied.
all in all, this tea is like a fiery-but-tasty punch in the mouth :D
