Barton's survivalist knowledge began with his time spent as an Owl Scout. He even remembers the recipe for the minty tea his Scout Commander taught him to brew when he was 7 - on his very first camping trip. Now a full grown man stripped of his Owl Scout title and in a bizarre overgrown new world, Barton seeks to relive his glory days. Surrounded by local mint plants and other flavorful vegetation, recreating his old Owl Scout tea is a breeze. Of course, an Owl Scout is 'always equipped' and Barton improvises and throws in some sweet spices he salvaged from the Baking Goods aisle (as represented by the vanilla chai). All in all, this tea is earthy and sweet, much like the gentle giant himself.
