To mimic a classic Dole Whip, I used to get when I would walk around Adventure Land in Disney, I used teas and mixed them to the right flavor. I used a heavy percent of rooibos tropics for a frontal assault of pineapple flavor and a little coconut. Then I went to white tangerine to add a little citrus kick to the smoothness. And I finish with a rooibos vanilla to mimic the milk in the dole whip. I also added an accent of Pineapple to finish the soft-served treat in tea form.
This tea contains no caffeine | Steep at 205° for 5 minutes.
When I lived in Orlando, I was on internship with Disney. I walk around Magic Kingdom for the first time in years. I missed all the smells and tastes there. The one thing I missed the most and never knew it until I saw it again, was the Dole Whip. A Dole Whip is a soft-served pineapple treat. It is sweet and smooth. I decided to make this tea to relive the times I walked around Magic Kingdom on a day off. *Note* This is my rendition of my memory of the Dole Whip, this is no way associated with Disney or the actual Dole Whips.
