mrs. patmore

created by: Crayola Bolger
Warm, comforting, with a bit of sharpness to her - Mrs. Patmore is an everyday sort of woman, and this is an everyday sort of tea. The base tea is nutty and a bit sweet, with hazelnut and chocolate chip black teas. Peppermint leaves provide a bit of the characteristic sharpness, and cocoa nibs add a touch of flair, just like one of Mrs. Patmore's signature dishes for upstairs. Excellent for dessert or an everyday afternoon tea.

These often elaborate and whimsical pots are traditionally used for gongfu steeping, where tea is served in small cups over the course of many very short infusions. Ideal teas for this are oolongs and puerhs, although some black teas will be quite love... read more...
