The twin brother of Anteros, Eros is the god of desire whose bronze arrows inspire passion in anyone they pierce. He is often portrayed as the more mischievous of the two, given his penchant for engendering romantic longing in gods and mortals alike. Though he is most often associated with the winged cherubs on Valentine's Day cards, his original appearance was that of a beautiful young man with feathery wings, carrying a bow and arrows. His sacred creatures are hares and dolphins, and he is most frequently symbolized by a rose or a bow. Eros's blend is as bittersweet as new love, with passionfruit adding a twist of excitement, and caffeine to keep you up all night, thinking about your beloved. Delicious hot or iced.
