This tea is very spicy. Which is usually a great thing for me in teas but I can't stop thinking that this tea kinda tastes like a cinnamon/spice candle that I own smells. It has a weird artificial-y taste. I don't know, it's not terrible at all but it's also not delicious. I got this as a sample and I'll finish it off but I'd rather just have masala chai or something similar. (5 mins @ 212°F)

I had high hopes for this tea because of its ratings, and it definitely is really good. It's sweet without being cloying or artificial and the chocolate gives it depth. Plain, I taste the chocolate more. but some sugar and milk brings out the sweet strawberry. I find that drinks named after foods rarely live up to the taste of the food, and while I didn't find this to be a liquid chocolate strawberry, the flavor is near enough that I do plan to keep it in my tea roster. I purchased this tea in the iced pouches but I really think it would be much better as a hot tea. I gave this tea two solid tries but it just wasn't for me. I couldn't explain what it really tastes like but my mom said it was like drinking straight vanilla. I returned my iced pouches. I might try a sample of this to have hot and I'll update this review if/when I try it. I really wanted to like it!

I should preface this by saying that when I purchased this it had a slightly higher ginger content. I lowered it by 10 upon initial tasting. The smell is strongly of ginger as is the taste. Ginger is a strong flavor for tea, as the name implies, so if that's not your cup of tea then this won't be either. For me, this tea is best with milk and sugar, it's too strong for me without that, I am not a lion. For Cersei I obviously wanted a bold, spicy taste with the intricacies required to win the game of thrones. (5 mins @ 212°F)

I was worried this blend had too many flavors to be harmonious but apparently they compliment each other. I felt Jon's blend needed to warm against the cold of the wall. The balance of cream and spice speaks to the balance of a life of a privileged bastard, and perhaps something deeper and mysterious. I purchased this for my boyfriend so here's his review: Steeped for 5 minutes, taken with a little splash of milk, despite the vow. Smells strongly of orange peel in the bag but it isn't the main flavor. The chocolate and almonds level out the vanilla chai's intensity, making it more manageable than most teas including vanilla chai. Tasty, refreshing while still being light with a citrus aftertaste. It was pretty hard for me to puzzle out the flavor of Bran's blend. This is one of the first green teas I've ever liked so that's a definite point in its favor. Other than that I found it very good and have been drinking it often. I taste most strongly the spices of the green chai and then the earthiness of the forest berries. I drink this tea plain as it can hold its own with no need for sugar. I recognize I should be brewing it at a lower temperature but it's just easier with my kettle to do it at 212 for less time and I don't notice any bitterness or the like. For Bran I wanted to represent his involvement with green dreams and the supernatural, but also the darker side of his possible future and experiences in the trees. (3 mins @ 212°F)
