"This is so warm and perfect for the Holidays. Taste is great, subtle. "
"I cannot possibly wax poetic enough about this tea~ hands down my favorite tea from adagio, and I love them all.
Thew chestnut is a sweet, nutty, subtle blend, slightly akin to a hazelnut. it's not at all savory or earthy as one might expect; i foudn it more malty and sweet. It's a mellow cup; with a nice bouquet. I only bought a sample, not sure what to expect- and I'm running back to pick up some bigger tins before they run out, as i'm broken hearted to find it's only a seasonal tea. If you like hazelnut, you will ADORE this tea, do yourself a favour 7 pick some up before it's too late :)
I brewed it for 2-3 minutes tops; the nuttiness can lend itself to bitterness if you brew too long; 2 minutes is enough to give you a lovely, rich amber-hued cup of tea. Use near but never at boiling water~ this is also a fabulous blending base; it would go well with a lot, i'm certain. Don't waste your time with a sample, buy the 4oz, you won't regret it!"
"Great tea with very strong flavor. I highly recamend to anyone who likes chestnuts!"
"Very good - after getting a sample size my husband insisted on getting an 8 oz tin!"
"I first tasted this tea in the Holiday Sampler, and had to order more. It has a fine smell and delicious flavour, and while I'm not huge on chestnuts, I like it quite a lot."
"Incredibly smooth, with a malty undertone. Perfect for chilly mornings. I bought the sampler and it makes much more tea than the 10 cups stated, well worth your money!"
