Weekday orders placed before 3:00pm are shipped the same day. Orders placed after 3:00pm or during the weekend are processed and shipped the next business day.

Our domestic shipping prices are very reasonable: Ground rate for non-rural destinations is only $3.75. Second Day delivery is $9.75. Next Day rates are calculated automatically based on weight and distance. To learn more, please visit our shipping page.

Australia and New Zealand are unfortunately destinations that we cannot ship to because of customs restrictions on the import of tea. If you are aware of changes in these country's customs policies, please let us know.

We gladly ship to APO/FPO addresses via USPS Priority Mail service. The only caveat is that the shipping fee is higher at $7.75 per order.

We gladly ship orders to Canada using US Mail with shipping rates calculated automatically based on weight and distance. We gladly ship orders to Alaska, Hawaii & Puerto Rico. The only caveat is that the shipping fee is higher. Since UPS is not a viable option, we must ship these orders with Priority Mail, a more expensive option that necessitates a $9.75 fee per order.

Missing your order? Take a deep breath and shoot us an email with your order number, and we'll gladly contact the shipper to arrange a Driver Follow-up. This means that the driver who made the original delivery will revisit your home, and help in the location of this package. Many times, the package is left in a place that may not be overly apparent to prevent it from 'walking away.' Or the package may be left with a neighbor for safekeeping. Either way, the driver will help you locate it.

We ship orders to most countries using Priority Mail International. Deliveries outside the United States typically arrive within 1-2 weeks. Orders within the contiguous United States of $50 or more qualify for free Ground shipping. However, this promotion may not be combined with others, including our Frequent Cups points. As such, Frequent Cups or other promotional certificates do not count towards the total required to earn free shipping.

We operate two warehouses, in New Jersey and California, and always aim to ship products from the one that's closest. Unfortunately, this is not always possible, and occasionally your order may take longer to arrive than is usual. We aim to carefully package your selections to ensure they survive the grueling handling in transit. Despite these efforts, you may receive a damaged item. If that happens, please visit the returns & claims page to begin the process of arranging its return and/or replacement. If you have any questions, we are happy to help via email.

Shipping to multiple addresses? Please enter these orders separately. We unfortunately can't split an order among multiple addresses. Nor do multiple orders count towards our offer of free Ground shipping.

We ship primarily with UPS,but also use FedEx and USPS. If the days-in-transit figure indicates that the order will be delivered on a Saturday, we may ship your order with Fedex as UPS does not offer this service.

Orders that are under 1 pound or that can't be delivered by UPS or Fedex are sent through USPS. This includes orders to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, and international locations. Tracking details are provided in all cases.

Orders shipping with UPS and Fedex may be subject to a $2 rural surcharge imposed by these carriers for locations within ZIP codes deemed to be rural. To see if your ZIP is considered as such, please visit our shipping page.

As you may imagine, it costs more to deliver packages in rural locations. As a result, both UPS and Fedex impose a $2.10 fee for deliveries in these areas. We simply pass on the cost. However, even with the $2 added, we hope you agree that our shipping rates are very reasonable.
