Earning Frequent Cups points
We have many ways of rewarding your loyalty. You'll automatically earn Frequent Cups points for every dollar spent. You also earn points by completing product reviews, promoting the sale of customized blends, or recommending us to your friends. Once your point total reaches 100, you'll have a chance to convert them into a $10 certificate. It's that easy!
Redeeming Frequent Cup points
Once your Frequent Cups points total exceeds 100, you may easily exchange these for a $10 certificate. To do so, please visit the points summary page in your account page. The certificate will arrive instantly via e-mail. Please look for an opportunity to deploy it on your next pass through our checkout. We unfortunately may not do so retroactively. If you forget to apply the certificate, we kindly ask that you retain it for future visits. Frequent Cup certificates do not expire and may be used at a later date.
Combining certificates
Unfortunately our system does not permit the combining of certificates. Our apologies. We invite you to save your second certificate to use on a future order.
Forgetting to apply certificate
Once the checkout process is complete, we unfortunately may not apply a certificate to it retroactively. However, your certificate will remain valid and may be use anytime in the future. Missed the opportunity to apply one? Please see the 'applying certificates' section for clarification on how to apply your discount.
Complimentary certificates
Might you have friends who may enjoy our teas? We invite you to mail all a complimentary $5 gift certificate. Once your friends utilize the certificate, we'll reward you by adding 10 points to your Frequent Cups total, bringing you closer to earning a $10 certificate as well.
Given their free nature, our $5 certificates come with two caveats. One is that they work only for new customers. The other is a limit of one certificate per household or address. Our system may reject a certificate if the sender and recipient's addresses are too similar.

Applying certificates
A certificate will automatically subtract its value from your total. To apply, please look for this option during the checkout process. The section is labeled 'payment method.' Please select the 'gift-certificate' option. The subsequent page will give you an opportunity to enter its number and automatically subtract its value from your total. We unfortunately may not do so retroactively. If you forget to apply the certificate, we kindly ask that you retain it for future visits.
