About Tea
"How can I be sure that I'll get tins with my tea?"
All teas arrive in resealable tins, with the exception of the largest size
(usually 16oz) and a few of the herbals-- these arrive in an aluminum-lined,
heat sealed paper bag. The reason being that we simply do not have tins this
big (this is why it is cheaper as well)!
Tea never really goes "bad," just loses some flavor.
Tea is best kept fresh by putting in a dark and dry, sealed in a closed container until using (and, after opened, kept as close to sealed as possible). This should keep the tea fresh up to one year (a little less for green and white teas). We do not recommend putting in the freezer, in that it will add moisture to the tea leaves, greatly reducing the flavor.

To most Westerners, it is a little known fact that the word 'Chai' simply means 'tea'
in Hindi. Therefore, all teas are technically chais. However, instead of the 'chai'
that most Americans are used to (which usually contains really bad tea), we offer a
Masala Chai tea - premium
Ceylon black tea with a unique blend of spices; cinnamon, cardamon, and ginger.
Hope you give it a try.
We do not sell empty tins, as these were very prone to damage in transit.
Many would arrived dented, and the cost of mailing replacements soon grew
prohibitively high.
While we agree that our teas are among the "coolest" and best you'll find,
we do not mail out free samples. However, these are very reasonably priced.
Hope you may wish to visit us once more and select a few that you would like
to try.

is to post this

While some of our teas are organic, most are not. This is simply due to the
fact that experience has show us that most organic teas are simply lower
quality. Currently, our only organic teas are our Rooibos "Red" teas,
and Iced teas, which are the delicious exception to the rule.
There is only a handful of Fair Trade tea estates in the world (although
several tea companies buy from these estates)! So few, in fact, that
anything that they put their name on is exponentially more expensive for
what generally turns out to be significantly lower quality.
We support the idea, but have decided to wait until the quality catches up to the hype!

Good news: Any unflavored tea is naturally Kosher!
However, we haven't paid the fee to get these teas to be officially Kosher certified, so cannot mark them as "Kosher."
