Decaf Mandarin Green

Description

Green tea from China, decaffeinated using a superior CO-2 process. The latter is all natural and gentle, allowing tea leaves retain their delicate shape and flavor. Flavored with mandarin oranges. Makes a tasty cup of tea, both hot and iced.

Story

Orange, a common fruit these days, has a long and questionable history. Many countries claim to be its birthplace, including China, India, Burma, and Malaysia. During the Middle Ages, the fruit traveled from Asia to Europe. And then along with the conquistadors to the lands of the New World. In its new home, the orange plant became fruitful, and multiplied. Today America is the largest orange-growing region in the world, with much of it clustered around the areas of Sao Paulo in Brazil and Florida in the United States.

"Love this one! It's a great choice to serve to guests who are a little on edge about trying new things/"real tea". The citrus plays well with the green to create a smooth, mellow cup. Excellent hot OR iced!"

"This was pretty good. It was pretty much a standard green tea I thought. The mandarin flavor wasn't as strong as a would have liked but it was certainly not bad! I made a pot hot and then stuck it in the fridge for a few hours - I thought it came out as a nice iced tea. "

"A respectable blend. It's not quite as good as the decaf apricot green(my favorite out of that bunch) but it's still quite enjoyable. The flavor isn't subtle and sometimes borders on artificial, but I prefer strong teas so it works for me."
