Description

Green tea from China, decaffeinated using a superior CO-2 process. The latter is all natural and gentle, allowing tea leaves retain their delicate shape and flavor. Flavored with fresh apricots. Makes a tasty cup of tea, both hot and iced.

Story

In Latin apricot means "precious," a label earned because it ripens earlier than most summer fruits. A relative of the peach, the apricot was originally found growing wild on the mountain slopes of China more than 4,000 years ago. Apricots progressively made their way through the Persian Empire to the Mediterranean where they were fondly adopted. Spanish explorers introduced the apricot to the New World, and they were planted in the gardens of Spanish missions all over California. The first recorded major production of apricots in America was in 1792 south of San Francisco.

"thus far... my favorite that I've discovered from Adagio! A nice subtle but consistent apricot flavor nicely complements the green tea. "

"I think that I prefer the regular apricot....this tasted okay but I do not think it was flavorfull enough to become one of my favorites."

"I keep trying "fruit" favored teas thinking I will like them. Tried this one because it had a high rating, but I think I'm just not a fruit tea person. bleh."

"This tea just makes me feel warm-fuzzy-happy (I actually said “nom nom nom” the first time I tried it). Someone else noted a weird tongue-feeling, and I did experience it one of the times I made it, but it’s not enough to make me stop drinking it. I’ll probably always try to keep a sample size on hand since it is a nice evening option. I also need to try their regular black apricot!"
